Ch .1 cheesecake

Ken POV

I headed to Yumeno sensei's apartment. It was still a little ways out from His deadline but I need to be sure that he has the right idea. Yumeno is an amazing mangaka but sometimes he gets these ridiculous storylines that would just make no sense. He can also-

"Ken-Kun~" Maeno obnoxious as ever.

I had brought him along because he needed a ride to Miyako's to discuss putting more tanuki in her manga. Honestly I pity that girl. He also has a second reason for coming, Yumeno's beta assistant Sakura-san he likes to bring her cheesecake. He says it's like having the little sister he always wanted.

"Ken-kun!" Maeno whined.

"hm?" My reply.

"I asked if you thought chibi-chan would like the new cheesecake I bought for her," he said with an eye roll.

"Who's chibi-chan?" I asked.

"Sakura obviously" he scoffed

This was an accurate title for Sakura-San of course she was only about 4'9" and given that she's like a little sister in Maeno's eyes it made sense. However the level of familiarity that it suggests was not to my comfort level.

"How is this one different from any of the others?" I wondered aloud.

At this he of course started on a rant about the different types of cheesecake which I tuned out. This bought me some time to think about the crazy storyline that Yumeno sensei would have waiting for me. On second thought maybe listening to the difference between raspberry fudge and blueberry cream was a good idea.

We finally arrived at Yumeno sensei's apartment complex. I phoned up to tell him that we had arrived.

"Yumeno sensei we're here" I started.

"We" he asked sluggishly.

"Yes, Maeno brought Sakura-San some cake," I explained.

"... oh, alright," was all the response he offered before hanging up.

We arrived at his front door and rang the bell.
