Love is when your heart beats fast for a person. It could happen to anyone and the cause may also be random. But you know what's more genuine? When you could let your heartbeat stop for a person.

I stared at Professor Han who's lecturing us.

"Love is similar to being high, but love can still serve as a pain reliever. In novels, we mostly read that when you're in love, it's the heart that is functioning but no... Brain falls in love and not the heart. Love can be broken down into three, attraction, attachment, and lust. But you should take note that love and lust are two different kinds of feelings." she said, her eyes lingered on me.

Those were love, what she said.

"Oh, buhay ka pa pala! Buti naisipan mong umuwi, bro!" Blake asked with a smug. Umirap ako, I couldn't stand him. Pareho sila ni Blewtt na nakakainis. Blake is too nosy and talkative, while Blewtt is too serious and intimidating. Sa totoo lang hindi ko pinangarap magkaroon ng ganitong mga kapatid, pero wala na akong magagawa.

"Dad called me," walang ganang sabi ko at nilampasan siya.

"Hala, baka ipahanap sa 'yo si Mama!" kunwaring takot na sabi niya kaya natigilan ako. "Sabagay, the one who lost it should find it himself. Pangit naman siguro kung nawala mo ang cellphone mo tapos ipapahanap mo kay Kuya Blewtt, 'di ba?" my fists curled into balls after hearing that.

They never stop making me feel like it's my damn fault... my mom's departure.

"Blake likes her, sa kanya mo na lang siya ipakasal." Sabi ko, but he shook his head.

"She doesn't want Blake. Ikaw ang gusto," naiiling na sabi ni Dad.

Since Ash's family is quite famous in the medical field, he wants me to marry her for our family to have a connection with their family.

"Isn't it unfair? Ayoko maging doctor, Dad. Wala akong interes sa medical field. Si Blake, siya ang magdo-doctor kaya siya na lang. At ayoko magpakasal sa hindi ko gusto."

Even before, I had a principle of marrying someone I truly love. It will be too hassle marrying someone just for connections, kahit gaano kaganda ang babaeng iharap niyo sa akin, kung hindi titibok at titigil ang pintig ng puso ko para sa kanya, I will never marry her.

Papa even threatened me, he told me that he will never hesitate draining my bank account but that didn't budge me.

I flew to Italy, naroon kasi ang pinsan ko at may university siya roon. Right after my plane landed, I immediately went here with my luggage.

I was on my way when a girl caught my attention.

Just from looking at her, I could see her sadness. Nakatitig siya sa mga batang naglalaro ng volleyball habang may kung anong sinusulat sa notebook.

"Kaliwete," I whispered after watching her. Her beautiful light brown hair that has its ends wavy is being blown by the wind.
