The Niece (One Direction Fanfic)

Chapter 2

Beep beep

Beep beep

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. Another bad dream. I always dream of that. I wish that it never had happened.

I was about to go back to sleep until I heard my sister's voice behind my door. "Brooke! Brooke! Wake up already! We're going to be late for school!" Well, I had no choice but to get up already. "Yeah! I'm up! I'll be there in 30 minutes." I responded. Then I heard footsteps walking towards the other room.

Just what I told Michelle, I got up and headed to the bathroom. I did my daily routine every school days. After 30 minutes, I was finally ready and headed downstairs. I saw my mum doing pancakes. And my sister had a head start of me towards the food.

"Goodmorning Brooke. Had a good sleep?" My mum asked me. I just nodded slightly and sat down. She just stared at me for a moment then went back to the kitchen.

I took a plate of pancakes and poured syrup all over it. I love syrup! After I poured a lot of syrup, I dig in.

Meanwhile my mum poured me some orange juice. I looked at the glass as it was being filled. "Darling, I know your still sad about your dad. But please? Everybody needs to move on. Keep moving forward." Mum told me. "I know, but seeing a glass filled with orange juice really reminds me of him. It was his favorite drink in the morning." I said. She just nodded as a sign of aggreement.

After our breakfast, we told mum that Michelle and I are heading for school.

As we we're walking, Michelle started talking about One Direction on the phone. She's really a huge fan of them, and I'm not. She calls herself 'Directioner.' which was I think is a dedicated fan. But you can't call me a hater of them either. They are just not my type.

Later on, we finally reached school. I went inside our room and saw my four bestest friends. "Brooke!" Jeanette, Brittany, Lauren, and Wendy all said in unison. I waved at them and stated "Hey."

I headed to my seat which was actually between Jeanette and Lauren. "So, what's up?" I asked them. "Wendy was just telling us about One Direction coming here for their tour." I rolled my eyes as I heard the name 'One Direction.' I wasn't really surprise with the news, cause I heard it alot from Michelle. "So, what's with that? It's just a concert you know." I told them.

Then they sated at me like it was nothing to me. "Hello! Brooke! Have you already forgotten? They are the world's famous boy band! Which is actually handled by your uncle?! And we got to see them this summer?!" Wendy told me as if I was stupid. "I know who they are and that my Uncle Si handle's them but what do I care? They are just some boys who got famous."

Before Wendy could even answer, the teacher got inside the room. "Goodmorning class." the teacher greeted us. "Goodmorning Mrs. Parker." then she gave us a signal that we could sit down.

We all settled down on our seats. It's only an hour away before summer starts all over again.

School has finally ended and I texted Michelle that I'll be heading home early, she just replied 'okay'

As I was passing through houses, my phone vibrated. I got it up and took a look of the caller. It was my mum. "Hello? Mum?" I said. "Brooke, Darling. You need to get home right away. I have good news for you." As I heard what she said, I immediately hang up and run towards my house.

As I got inside, my heart stopped with what thrilled my eyes. There infront of me was my Uncle Si, smirking directly to me.

I ran towards him and hugged him tightly. My tears were streaming down my face. Uncle Si was really a second father to me. He is very kind and very caring too.

"Shh.. Brooke. Everything's okay. Don't cry anymore." he said as he rubs my back. "I'm just happy you're here." I replied. "I'll make everything more better by letting you come with me to London." I pulled away from him and gave him a shock expression. What does that mean? I'll be with him and with those five crazy boys? Oh no, this might not turn out well.
