rain drops

chapter 1

[AN] I wanna say im not much of a writer but I enjoy doing it so enjoy this Also if you have advice or tips please share<3

I sat in the rain listening to the sound of rain fall on petals of flowers and leaves from trees, wondering what I have done to deserve this...as I sat there i heard footsteps aproch me.

"Nelly what are you doing?!" My very protective brother said in concern.

Snapping me out of my daze i look up at him "oh hey sorry" i say in a unconvincing tone.

"SORRY!?" Nathen yells "YOU CANT JUST LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT SAYING SOMETHING FIRST! SOMETHING COULDVE HAPPENED TO YOU AND THE FACT YOU DIDNT BRING YOUR PHONE!?!"

can I not have a moments peace without someone ruining it "sorry I wanted some fresh air" I say blankly

He looked really mad its not like I ran away or something..."ugh! It's fine just come home mom is worried" he said walking back the sound of leaves crunching.

It was the end of October so winter was around the corner. I don't really like winter tho fall and spring are my preferred seasons. I was sitting in a pile of leaves by my favorite tree trying to enjoy it while I can. Since I don't have many friends...

[20 minutes later]

"Ah there you are. Sorry I sent nathen out to look for you I got worried" my mom said

"I'm ok mom I just wanted fresh air" I just wanna be left alone right now...

" you haven't been yourself latly, you've been spacing out barely eating and never really coming out of your room unless your in the woods alone" she says looking at me concern lacing her eyes

If only she knew " I'm sorry school has been stressing me out latly" i lied school is actually pretty easy for me I just don't need her worrying.

She looked at me relieved like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders "Ok my love if you need help with anything please come to me I love you"

"I love you too" I tell my mom as I walk up stairs to my room.

Just as I thought I caught a brake I hear a knock on my door. As I open it it reveals my tall blonde brother "you need to feed cookie before you do anything"

Why can't he do this himself..."ok" I say dryly closing my door in his face

I plop down on my bed and scroll through my phone no messages of course I feel so unimportant to everyone around me...

Suddenly I get a message

I miss him so much but I wanted to sleep...it's Ok  it'll make me feel better

I'm so lucky I have him I smile to myself as i get off my bed and get dressed into lose fit jeans a tight black long sleeved shirt that buttoned at the top and my black air force. My hair in a loose bun with my bangs out. I look in the miorr and shrug  oh well he's seen it all anyways.
