Elena Meets Damon

Elena's P.O.V

*The Next Day After School*
I went up to Stefan's house and knocked on the door. There was no answer so I just pushed the door open and walked in.
Me: Stefan!
I heard the door creak and a crow flew in. I turned around and saw some guy standing behind me.
Me: I'm-I'm sorry for barging in. The door was...
I then turned around and the door was closed.
Me: Open.
?: You must be Elena. I'm Damon, Stefan and Bailey's brother.
Me: Stefan never told me he had a brother.
Damon: Well Stefan's not one to brag. Please, come. I'm sure Stefan will be along any second.
We walked into what I assumed was the living room.
Me: Wow! This is your living room?
Damon: Living room. Parlor. 70's action. A little kitschy for my taste. Damon said smirking at me.
Damon: I can see why my brother's so smitten.
I just stared at him.
Damon: It's about time. For a while there I never thought he'd get over the last one, nearly destroyed him.
I was confused by this statement.
Me: The last one?
Damon: Yes, Katherine, his girlfriend.
I just shook my head.
Damon: Oh. You two haven't had the awkward exes conversation yet.
Me: Nope.
Damon: Oops. Well, I'm sure it'll come up now. Or maybe he didn't want to tell you because he didn't want you to think he was on the rebound.
I couldn't say anything so I just nodded.
Damon: We all know how those relationships end.
Me: Say it like every relationship is doomed to end.
Damon: Hello Stefan. Hey Kiddo.
I turned around and saw Stefan and Bailey standing behind us.
Stefan: Elena, I didn't know you were coming over.
Stefan said this not taking his eyes off of Damon. Bailey on the other hand just walked downstairs to what I guess was the basement
Me: I know. I should of called.
Damon: Oh don't be silly. You're welcome anytime. Isn't she Stefan?
Stefan just kept glaring at Damon.
Damon: You know I should break out the family photo albums, or some home movies. But, I have to warn you he wasn't always such a looker.
Stefan: Thank you for stopping by Elena. Nice to see you.
I could tell Stefan wanted me to leave.
Me: Yeah, I should probably go. It was nice to meet you,Damon.
Damon: Meeting you too, Elena. He said taking my hand and kissing it.
I then left the house.

Bailey's P.O.V.

I went downstairs and grabbed a blood bag from Damon's stash. I'm the only one he let's take from it. I walked back upstairs and saw that Elena had left.
Me: Hey guys. What was that about? I asked as I drank from the bag.
Damon: Elena just stopped by to see Stefan.
He looked at what I was drinking.
Damon: Is that from my stash?
Me: Yeah. I was thirsty. I said walking over to the couch still drinking.
Damon: Hey don't worry about it . I know you hate drinking from people so drink as many as you want Kiddo. Just take it easy.
He walked over to me and kissed my forehead. Then he left the room.
