"Y-you can talk?!"

Hiccup looked as if he was about to pass out, and not because of the lack of blood in his system. "W-what is going on?!" He tried to stand up only to fall down again as the Stormcutter dragon moved closer. "Try to relax kid" it said in a calm voice, "My name's Cloudjumper".

"I don't understand, w-what's going on?" He wasn't as scared as he probably should have been. He neither felt threatened or in danger. Hiccup was only a bit frightened as he didn't remember exactly how he ended up here, and his memory was still a bit hazy. "You don't remember?" asked Cloudjumper with a worried look. "How hard did you h-" she was interrupted before she could continue, "Perhaps it is for the best, for now" Said the Bewilderbeast. "Do you know your name son?" it asked. Hiccup nodded, "Hiccup" he said.

I looked around; the place was beautiful. There were flowers I had never seen before. Dragons I had never heard of. 'Was this Folkvang?'. A low grumbling noise startled me. I could feel my stomach growling at me. "Um... Cloudjumper?" "Yes Hiccup? Are you hungry perhaps?" She asked tilting her head to the side. I nodded.

"Good. It's feeding time" as Cloudjumper said that almost all of the dragons flew out and into the icy caves leading outside while the huge dragon whom Cloudjumper addressed as king began sinking down into the water away from my view.

Cloudjumper told Hiccup to climb onto her. He was hesitant at first but got help getting on by her laying down on the ground. "Hold on tight" she said as they took off. Hiccups knuckles turned white by how hard he was holding on. They flew out through one of the tunnels and followed the big herd of dragons.

The flock came to a complete stop over the water. Hiccup looked over the side to see bubbles and foam coming out of the water. "I thought we were gonna eat?" "Oh but we are!" She answered just as the Bewilderbeast came out of the water, and right before he fell back in, he spit out so many fishes that the sky was covered in it. "Hold on!" Cloudjumper said as she and the other dragons started diving to catch the fish falling down. Hiccup had to hold on as hard as he could and was close to falling of sometimes here and there, but he managed to stay on.

Cloudjumper flew back into the sanctuary and stopped on one of the ledges. She let the fishes she caught fall out of her mouth and onto the floor. Hiccup slid down her wing, landing on the floor. He got up and walked over towards the pile of fish. Cloudjumper shoved some of the fishes towards him, "Here, eat". Hiccup looked at her not knowing weather it was a joke or not. It wasn't a joke, he quickly responded holding his hands and looking between her and the ground. "I-I can't eat raw fish".

Cloudjumper apologized and asked him how he could eat it. Hiccup walked over to a stick laying on the ground and jammed it through a fish. "I can cook it over a fire" he said holding it up. She nodded and looked over to one of the dragons nearby, "Garrfend! Can you come over here?". A medium-sized boulder class dragon walked towards them. "Can you light a fire long enough for Hiccup to cook his fish?" Stormcutter asked. The Snafflefang nodded and opened his mouth gesturing for him to use the fire that was lit. Stormcutter and Hiccup both noted that they needed to find a better way to cook his fish.

After they both had eaten the fish Hiccup started walking around. He shuddered at the cold air. Cloudjumper flew over to the ledge and picked up the previously discarded animal fur. She flew back and gave it to Hiccup who gladly too it and wrapped it around himself, it was still quite big and dragged at his feet, but at least it would keep him warm. He let out a big yawn and rubbed his eyes. "m-sleepy" Hiccup said walking over to Cloudjumper. "Right..." she looked around and spotted an empty cave. She grabbed Hiccup with her claws and flew over to the cave. She sat him down and looked around making sure it was safe enough for Hiccup to make it his permanent sleeping quarters. Even if dragons often slept together, she had noted that vikings had their own wooden caves thing.

"This is where you will stay Hiccup" she said looking at Hiccup who was walking around. "This is perfect!" he said, "But where's the bed?". "Umm. I will get you one tomorrow" She said not sure what a 'bed' was. Hiccup sensed that she was unsure by the tone in her voice. He walked over to a pile of snow and drew what a bed looked like. "Alright then, you will get one tomorrow. Now come here and let's sleep".

Hiccup walked over to Stormcutter whom had laid down. Hiccup climbed over her and laid down on her stomach, feeling the warmth coming through the smooth scales. She wrapped her wings around them to keep out the chill air that had gotten colder as the sun had gone down.
