Stacy was driving me to school. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the cool breeze hitting my face.
"I've missed this" i told Stacy. "Miss what?" Stacy asked while turning her head towards me and quickly moving her head back to the road.

"This. You driving me to school" i said while looking at the trees that were on the side of the road. "Well i can always drive you to school. You just have to ask" my mom replied. "Well i don't want to ask. I want you to drive me to school everyday" i replied looking at her while she was focused on the road.

"Okay cupcake i will" she replied while giving me a slight smile.

"Okay here we are" mom said while turning her head towards me. "Yep" i replied with a smile on my face.

I walked inside where everyone were gossiping with their friends.
I didn't really believe in friends as i thought that one day there will definitely leave your side. So what's the point of having them when they are just going to leave.

I walked in trying to find a locker when i noticed that the hallway just went silent. I looked around and i saw everyone staring at me. I saw some faces that i had never seen before and those who i knew were already going to this school were staring coldly at me.

"Jeez. What did i do to them?" I whispered when i finally found a spare locker.

I put all of my stuff in my locker except my books and went to see my schedule. Everyone had to get their schedule from the principal's office as everyone did not have the same schedule.

"Hello?" I said while knocking on thw principal's door. "Come in" i heard the principal say from his office.

"Hello Mr Clark, i'm here for my schedule." I said while closing the door behind me.

"Okay. Sit down" Mr Clark said while he search through some papers in his drawer.

"Tell me your First name and Surname please" Mr Clark asked.
"Valerie Miller" i replied.

Mr Clark wrote something down and searched for my schedule in a pile of papers. "Here" he said while he handed me my schedule.
"Thank you. Have a good day Mr Clark" i said while getting up from the chair. "You too Miss Miller" he said.

I stepped out of the principal's office just to hear the bell ring. I looked through my schedule and tried to find my class and find the right book.

I had chemistry first. I took my chemistry book and went to class. All the seats were taken except for one at the very back. I sighed as i knew i had no choice but to sit at the back knowing that i was a student that loved to sit in the front.

The free seat was next to a boy who i've surprisingly never seen before. And i practically knew the entire school but the entire school didn't know me. I sat down putting all my stuff on the table.

"Hey" i heard the boy say. "Hey" i replied. "You seem cool. Wanna hang out after school?" he asked.
"Sure" i heard myself say to the boy.

"Wait what? I said "sure"? How? I've never been interested in making friends yet i said "sure" to that boy who i don't even know? Am i dying? What's happening to me? Am i overreacting? I mean what's the harm in just hanging out with a friend after school." I thought.

"HANGING OUT WITH A FRIEND??" i whispered without realizing that he heard me

"What?" He asked. "Uh-h nothing" i managed to say.

"Hello Class. Im Mr Anderson and im your new Chemistry Teacher" i heard Mr Anderson say while putting his bag on his desk.

"So what's your name?" I whispered so only he could hear me. " I'm Ian Garcia. And you?" He asked. "I'm Valerie Miller" i replied blushing slightly.
"I've never seen you here before. Are you new?" I asked raising one of my eyebrow. "Yep." Ian replied.

"Keep quiet everyone. I don't want to lose my temper on the first day of school. So please open your books on page 3" i heard Mr Anderson shout.

"What's up with him? He's such an ass. I hate him already" i whispered to Ian. "Yep i hate my dad too. He's a dick to everyone" Ian replied.

Wait what? His dad? "Your dad?" I questioned him with a puzzled face. "Yep" he replied looking a bit annoyed. "Then why isn't your last name Anderson?" I questioned chuckling a little as it felt weird to think his name as "Ian Anderson".

"Let's grab coffee later and then i'll explain everything. If Ander-. Mr Anderson see us talking in his class, we might not survive our senior year" he joked while i stared at him blankly not knowing whether to be scared or to laugh.

"Sure. Meet you at Monet's at five?" I asked. "Sounds good" he replied.
