ShadowFall Starnaljus originates from a dimension known commonly as "EverLight"
Following the death of Eternity (And theoretically reality as whole) ShadowFall and a few items he carried were transferred to a different reality. (This is where standard canon for EverLight ends and the post-NightStorm writings begin) Upon arrival in this new world, ShadowFall had no recollection of his past, he couldn't even remember his name. After a little bit, ShadowFall, now holding the title "Omnia" regained some memory. As a challenge to Eternity he named himself Aeternum. Aeternum feared that he would become like the gods of the old world. He was scared, he feared power. Aeternum more than anything feared how he might misuse his power.
Aeternum found he could not control the crystal, and so decided he had to destroy it. Of course, it is not possible to destroy the crystal. Aeternum, realizing he quested in vain, determined that he had to at least destroy the rift that brought him here.
But suddenly, he determined that perhaps it didn't need to go.
Aeternum turns from his former quest and seeks to rebuild at least a portion of the old world.
And so he raised from the depths Brannahall, seat of Void's power.

Eternity shows up and does a thing.
Aeternum is basically destroyed and goes to purgatory where he meets his long lost daughter or something.
He's shoved into a crystal and then lives as a depressed rock for a while.
Towards the end of depressed rock time, Lunae gains a physical form and proceeds to insult almost everyone in reality.
She gets tired of being a disrespectful child and apologizes to everyone and they all live happily ever after, wait no, just kidding. This is written by Vindhallare, no one lives happily.
She learns that she is Eternity or something and decides to destroy him. Everyone finds this sad so I'll just copy and paste it.
I... You're not my master Eternity! You fool, I am in command here, not you!

Especially not when I can prevent it.
He still concentrates healing magic into her.
