"What do you want to buy?" Y/n asked looking at the items at the cafeteria, scanning the prices if she could afford to buy it.

"Hm... I think banana milk is good." Jaehyuk said pointing the banana milk.

Y/n looked at her wallet then to Jaehyuk then to the banana milk. The price of the banana milk could already take half of her money for the week. But nonetheless she promised to buy him. The small act itself made Jaehyuk notice.

"One banana milk please." She said to the cashier and after handing her money.

Y/n admits she is broke, And the only reason why she got to school is because of her mom working overseas for the family. And her mom was the only one who supports their family unlike her alcoholic father.

After paying for it she tossed the banana milk to Jaehyuk, who perfectly caught it. Wanting to leave after giving it but a hand held hers tightly.

"Where are you going?" Jaehyuk asked curious why would she leave right after and not buying anything for herself.

"Uhh... Leave....?" She said obviously and also anxiously as people were now watching them.

"No we should eat together first." Jaehyuk insisted looking at how she reacts.

Too shy to admit that she's broke and can't afford to buy a meal, she made excuses just wanting to dismiss herself from this situation.

"No, I'm good. Take this time to meet new people instead, I need to go now." Y/n said taking her hand away from his grasp and leaving him there.

After leaving from the cafeteria Y/n had went up the rooftop, her favourite place, only to see someone she had never expected to come.

Her new favourite.

She had always went up the rooftop everyday during lunch and this is the first time someone had came here.

"Asahi!" She called out excitedly looking at him like he was some kind of art.

The said boy looked back at her, eyes widening after seeing her. He was holding a lunchbox on his left hand.

He didn't said anything instead rushed to where Y/n was, at the door. But before he could go to the door Y/n had stopped him by closing it.

Asahi froze in realization. They were on a one way exit. The other side was now locked, and they are now currently stuck.

"Why did you closed the door?" Asahi asked a hint of panic evident on his voice.

Only then Y/n had think about what she had done.

She had locked both of then at the rooftop.

Asahi only hold the bridge of his nose closing his eyes, they cannot go out until someone opens the other side of the door for them.

"I'm sorry." Y/n said wanting to jump off the roof out of embarrassment.

"It's fine let's just hope for someone to open it for us." Asahi said sitting at the bench, looking at the scenery infront of him.

He was rather chill for someone who's locked up.

Not knowing what to do Y/n only watched him sat at the bench having a great shade of the sun covering for him.

It was silent at first while they just looked at each other, not until Asahi spoke.

"What are you doing there?" He asked and you only flinched hearing him, too shock at the sudden voice shift. He might have accidentally scared you. "Come sit here." He said patting the space beside him.

You only agreed, couldn't hide the smile that crept up your face.

You both looked at the sky feeling the breeze touched both your skins.

Asahi's original plan was to talk to you but he didn't have enough courage to do so, maybe it was because he was used to people approaching him and this was the first time he would do so.

But maybe this nice silence you both have was quite relaxing that both of you didn't utter any word.

After a while you both heard a grumbling noise and it came none other than your stomach.
