"Bro, ever since your last break up, you've been a little off the rocker, you know? Why not start fresh? There's plenty more fish in the sea." When Bokuto refused to answer, Konoha sighed and slouched in the train seat.

Bokuto continued staring out the window, frowning visibly. The thing is, when he figured out his girlfriend had been cheating on him, he... well, killed her. Along with the other guy whom he forgot the name of.

Everyone believed she ran off with that dude to Cuba, according to the elaborate story the pepper-haired male told.

Back to the train ride, though. They had just finished visiting the new restaurant Konoha wanted to go to. Since there was so much alcohol, you were required an ID, and Konoha didn't drive, so Bokuto unwillingly tagged along.

A sigh left his lips as he watched the train on the other side of the window with a disinterested gaze, that was until his eyes met with someone else's.

Time seemed to slow down to the speed of a snail or a turtle as the little ginger on the other train blinked once offering a gentle smile before he was gone. Heart beating erratically, Bokuto stood and made his way to the back of the train, hoping to see him longer.

"Yo, man, what the hell?!" Quickly pulling Bokuto back to their seat, Konoha apologized to the people who Bokuto carelessly trampled over.

"Hey, where's that train that just passed going to?!" He hurriedly asked, and his friend was visibly taken aback, quickly rustling around in his bag for the map. "Uh, its next stop is at Miyagi, I think."

Just as their train slowed, Bokuto grabbed his bag and stood, waving goodbye to his friend and thanking him. "Uh, catch you later..?"

-----

When Bokuto hopped off the train that took him to Miyagi, he glanced around the station, hoping to lock eyes with those sweet, caramel ones from last time.

As his ongoing slaught of bad luck would have it, the little caramel-eyed male was nowhere in sight. He had already missed him. "No..." He grumbled, clenching his fists and stomping away with a pout.

What was he going to do now? What would someone normal do? Well, he didn't really understand the concept of normal.

-----

"I'd like a room, please," he stated to the motel manager, who nodded and got to typing on her laptop. He slapped the money down and all but snatched the key off the desk.

Since it was so late, he'd have no choice but to spend tomorrow looking for that little ginger. His beautiful face flashed in Bokuto's mind, and an excited grin spread over his face. "Man, he was so pretty~! I wanna see him again!"

-----

It was fate, Bokuto just knew it. The way Shouyou's small legs were tucked up against his chest in the booth by the window in the back, his head nodding off as he let his hand slip from his empty glass of alcohol.

His eyes were droopy as they stared at the table in front of him, a small sigh leaving his plump lips.

The bar they had just so happened to meet in was closing in an hour, meaning there were only a few patrons, who looked about ready to leave, and a few employees,  who were cleaning up in the back.

Bokuto sat down in front of Shouyou, his hazel eyes flicking up to him as a soft smile graced his face. His cheeks and nose were burnt a light red from the alcohol. "Hiya," The taller male muttered, trying to keep his voice low.

"Hiya," Shouyou replied, chuckling under his breath. "My name's Bokuto. I saw you sitting over here alone and wanted to check up on you."

Inside, Bokuto's heart was pounding so hard he could've sworn he felt it through the table. Shouyou was beyond beautiful. He wants him. He wants him right now. The most beautiful person in the world, Bokuto's brain began building a plan on how to claim him.

Forget his girlfriend, just from first glance, he could tell Shouyou was the one for him. His soulmate.

"Do you need help getting home?" He questioned, tilting his head further down toward the table in hopes of locking eyes with the ginger once more, craving the shock of excitement he got every time their eyes met.

He was successful, a grin almost splitting his face in half had he not pushed it down. "Ah... Maybe..?" Cute little button nose scrunching up, Shouyou laid his head against the window, eyes closing. Bokuto's heart clenched at the adorable sight.

"Alcohol's... gross..." he murmured to himself, reaching for his glass again, but Bokuto pulled it away, even though it was empty.

"You're drinking it, though," he chuckled, bringing the glass to his lips and pouring the last few drops into his mouth. When Shouyou's head dropped, he licked along the rim with a smirk. "I can give you a ride to your house if you want. Where do you live?"

Placing the cup down, Bokuto pulled his wallet out of his pocket to pay for Shouyou's drink, only for his eyes to fall on a handful of money tucked halfway under the napkin dispenser. There was a little notecard near it, and he picked it up.

'Sorry, could you call a cab, please? :)' It read, and Bokuto laughed through his nose. Shouyou obviously knew he was gonna get drunk, so something must be wrong for him to want to escape so badly.

Tucking the note into his pocket, he went to the other side of the table and sat beside the ginger, who leaned against him and weakly gripped at his shirt. "... 'Geyama..." He muttered, eyes cloudy and filled with tears as he snuggled deeper into Bokuto's arm.

Bokuto frowned at the mention of someone else but calmed himself down enough to talk. "Girlfriend?" He questioned, mildly shocked when Shouyou shook his head. "Just... Kageyama..."

Eyes slowly closing, a few tears slipped from his long, beautiful lashes, dripping down his face as his small body relaxed against Bokuto. "Sir, we'll be closing soon," one of the waitresses stated, bowing politely before taking the glass and going to wash it.

Finally letting his grin show, he lifted Shouyou up and carried him out of the building, feeling like he just won the lottery.

He knew, though, that it'd take a lot more to get Shouyou to trust him.

Placing Shouyou in the passenger seat, he made sure his seatbelt was properly fastened before hoping in himself and heading to the hotel he was staying in for the time being.

"Haha, my luck's finally turning around..!"  With a glance at the sleeping ginger, his grin only widened to the point his face hurt.
