Chapter 12

Time slowed down as all eyes turned to the grinning woman by the woods. Her crew lit up at the sight of her, cheers going around.

Luffy took a few beats to stop crying before he registered who was speaking. But Hana was already running towards her crew.

Nami slammed into her hard, hugging her tightly. Chopper cheered as he hugged her legs. Hana was so happy, she missed them all so much. It had been too long.

"Nami!" The redhead swayed them back and forth, a tight grip on the navigator. "Ahh I missed you guys so much!"

Bending down, she hugged Chopper, her fellow doctor. "Chopper I can't wait to hear about what you've been up to!" If she knew him as well as she did, he would have studied the whole two years. "I love the new hat!"

"Ah! Hana-Chan you look beautiful." Sanji swooped in and took her hand, leaving a kiss on it. "It wasn't the same without you."

"Yo-ho-Ho!" Brook peered over Sanji at her. "May I see your panties!?"

She let their weird tendencies slide this once, her excitement overweighting her uncomfortableness. "AH!" Her hands pointed at the first mate's face. "You have a wicked scar now! How'd you get that!?"

Not letting him answer she jumped at Robin. "ROBIN!" The older woman just laughed and hugged her back. "It's good to see you!"

"Usopp!" The sharpshooter and her exchanged fist bumps. "We need to have another competition. I'm still going to wipe the floor with you."

"We'll see about that."

Eyes widened at the sight of Franky, "AH! FRANKY DON'T MOVE I HAVE SOMETHING." In a flurry she launched herself onto the deck and hurried to her room.

Landing light on her feet, she held out a photograph to the cyborg. "This is for you!" She ended up having two photos taken that day. One with her and one without her. Obviously Franky got the one without her.

"We visited Water Seven for a new ship awhile back. I saw Iceburg and the Franky Family!"

Franky accepted the photo with tears streaming down his face. His two families are together in one photo. Hana blinked at him, she didn't mean to make him cry.

Spinning on her heel she addressed the last Straw Hat. Opening her arms she gave him a wide grin. "Luffy!" The rubber man giggled and happily jumped into her open arms for a hug.

"You sure took your time finding me."

"Shishishi. We had an adventure in Fishman Island!"

Pulling away she looked at him. "What?! Aww man I missed it. You have to tell me all about it!" She stole his hat and placed it on her head.

Hana approached the ravenette and leaned on his shoulder with her elbow. "I see you and Ace reunited. Did you meet Whitebeard yet?" Her gaze drifted towards the deck of the ship where the Captain was sitting. "You might want to say hello."

"How come you didn't travel to us?" Nami pointed out her ability to teleport anywhere with her marks but she didn't do it for them.

Hana blushed a bit and coughed. "I've already been through Fishman Island. I was born here in the New World. We came here like a year ago. It was kinda pointless to travel back to come forward again. So I waited." She shrugged like it made complete sense, which it did to her.

Zoro frowned at Ace as Robin looked at him intensely. "It seems your brother did not die a fiery death. How curious." The crew looked right at Hana, she was the only one capable of performing miracles.

Ace slung an arm across her shoulders. "Hana here did some miracle magic on Pops and me." He smirked at the crew. "I still don't understand how she brought us back from the dead but she did."

"I missed your healing circle!"

Chopper looked so sad at the idea of missing out on it. Hana frowned and tried to rid him of the sad look. "Sorry Chopper. I'm sure you'll see the next one."

"You saved Ace."

Luffy stared at her, his hair flowing freely in the air without his hat. Hana nodded her head in confirmation.

"No one deserves to lose their family."

Before she could elaborate her name was called from the deck. "Ah, I'll be right back!" The woman disappeared to the deck, sitting on the rails as she acknowledged who called her.

A small group of commanders waited for her. This was unexpected. Hana tilted her head at them, what did they want? Was she in trouble?

Izou walked forward with a wrapped package. "We couldn't let you leave empty handed after all you've done for us. So we got you something." Oh shucks, they didn't have to get her a gift, she was their friend. It's what friends do.

Not able to deny the gift, Hana accepted it. Peeling open the wrapping and pulling the box open her eyes widened. Izou remembered? The man smiled at her expression, he did remember!

Hana let out a happy scream as she clutched the items to her chest. Standing up she jumped up and down on the railing.

"WHERE DID YOU FIND THEM!?"

The straw hat woman was slightly red in the face from her excitement as she pulled her current boots off and slipped her new ones on.

A pair of dark blue ninja sandals.

"I remembered you talking about it once, how it's what you ninja wore but you could never find them. So I made a pair with some help."

Izou was hugged tightly by the woman, "You made them? Thank you, thank you!" She pulled away and gave them all a huge smile. "I love them!"

Hana rocked on the toes of her feet as she tested out her shoes. "They're so comfy! Ah I still can't believe you made them." They felt just like the shinobi sandals from home, it made her nostalgic.

Jumping down, she pulled Ace's arm. "Look! Izou made my ninja sandals!" She pulled a foot up for him to see, he was smirking with amusement at her. "Ahhh! I'm going to go test them out!"

Hana disappeared in a flash, off into the woods to test out her new sandals.

Ace looked at his brother with a smirk. "She still has your hat on." The rubber boy placed a hand on his empty head with a grin.

"I know."
