Sideswipe had asked me to just pick something up. Apparently, he had bought something online. I was waiting in line and from the corner of my eyes, I saw a pitch black Lamborghini. I turned my head because it caught my interest. The car just parked but no one hopped out. The engine was also still running so I guessed it was waiting for someone. I took the package and left the shop, walking down the street.

"Sideswipe!" I called out. He perked his head up. "Got your package," I handed it to him and sat on my bed. "So, what did you buy?" I asked. "Oh, just some games. I wanted to try it." He flashed me that cute smile. "How do you feel?" I asked. "Honestly, four days ago, I had a horrible pain in my chest... I couldn't even walk from the pain. I had it for a couple of days but it stopped the other day. These pains are very common for split sparks when the other has perished."

"Why haven't you told me? You walked around with pain for days," I said. "Not anymore." Sideswipe got up and walked over to the TV. I helped before I settled back on the bed and watched start his first game. My heart to know he was in pain and didn't said a thing. He's sweet and doesn't deserve it. I pressed a kiss on his cheek which made him smile.

A couple of hours passed and Sideswipe was in the mood to get a snack. A specific snack from Dunkin Donuts. Since he's so busy training, I had promised him I would get it for him. I wanted to escape the base anyway. Once I got the food and I emerged from the shop, I saw the same black car as before, this time parked across the street, parked with its engine cut off, unlike last time. I looked at it for several minutes before I strolled back towards the street. It's not like I haven't seen a lambo before but this car was so shinny and scratches that it was impossible to ignore. I am sure Sunstreaker would have complimented the cars appearance or try to make himself look as beautiful.

"Where have you been?" Prowl marched over to me. "Sideswipe wanted a snack." Prowl looked down at the box I was holding. "Can't Sideswipe get it himself?" he asked. "He was gaming. I offered him to get it and it's only two blocks away," I mocked. He sighed and shook his head, "you shouldn't be leaving on your own now the Decepticons are mobilizing, Sky," he stated. I gave a small nod, "yeah, sure."

Prowl grabbed my arm. "I am serious about." I hummed and walked over to my room where Sideswipe was still sitting in the same spot, playing his game. "Hi, go you your chocolate donut." He paused his game and flashed me a smile. "That's great, thank you." he took the box from me. "Promise me to tell me if you are in pain, okay?" I asked. Sideswipe glanced at me and nodded. "Yeah, I will." I wasn't convinced, he didn't sound like he was going to help me but arguing wouldn't do much good either. Sideswipe has this sweet and loving side but he also has this stubborn and annoying side. He's horrible good at winning arguments and he will annoy the hell out of me when he doesn't agree or is in a bad mood.

"Do you want to me Sam tomorrow?" I asked. Sideswipe looked up, "that Witwicky kid?" he asked. I hummed and nodded, "really? That sounds awesome, maybe he wants to be friends," he said and smiled. "Don't say that. It sounds so sad," I mumbled and took a bite. "It's true, Sky. You saw it yourself," he stated. I hummed. "Were you really... on the verge of stabbing that guy?" Sideswipe asked. "I have to admit that I was really pissed and if he had challenged me for a fight, I probably would have stabbed him, yes."

"I don't feel comfortable with you carrying that knife all the time. It's because... you are suffering from extreme grief. At a point that it's not really healthy anymore and I get it... we are on the same page. I am also sad and angered but... I know Sunstreaker doesn't want me to change into a psycho as well and kill everybody. Same thing for you, Sunny is gone and we can't do anything about it. The sooner we accept it, the sooner we can sort of move on. Or, you can move on. I don't want to live these last few weeks worrying about you. I mean... you're not okay but I want you to be okay."
I hugged him. Sideswipe wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer.

That night, Sideswipe stayed over. He was in a playful mood and kept teasing and annoying when I wanted to get some sleep. "Sideswipe!" I hissed and turned, pushing him down. "Stop." He smirked. His beautiful azure blue eyes were shining with mischief. "Stop, I am tired." He hummed and shrugged. "I am going to tie you up," I warned. "Yeah? You would love to tie me up?" He laughed. I rolled my eyes and curled up. "I am really good you know," he purred. "Enough, Sideswipe." I rolled my eyes. He curled up behind me and was the first one to fall asleep and he told me he wasn't tired.

The next morning, Sideswipe had a patrol and I was just cleaning up my room. Sideswipe is more messy than his twin brother was and just throws everything on the ground, doesn't matter what, weapons, underwear, shirts, everything. We would go to Sam as soon as he returned. I had asked Bumblebee if it would be okay, and Sam didn't matter.

I caught up with Sides in the hanger and hopped in. "Excited?" I asked. He nodded and drove off towards the address I had given him. "I am."
Bumblebee was already waiting for us when we arrived in the drive way. Sideswipe passed Bee straight towards Sam who had absolutely no idea what was going on. "Hi! I am Sideswipe." Sam did a step back but shook his head. "Are we friends?"

Sam glanced at me. "Y-yeah... I-I guess." Sideswipe dragged Sam with him. Bumblebee quickly followed to see if Sideswipe wasn't overwhelming Sam. I shook my head and closed Sideswipe's door. From the corner of my eye, I spotted someone. A guy, but I couldn't see him clearly. The only thing I saw was his contours. He was looking into my direction. My mind is probably messing with me or it what I want to see but I saw a red glimpse. Like his eyes were red. "Skylar!" I looked at Sideswipe for a moment. "Are you coming?"

I nodded, "yeah, one sec." looking back, the figure was gone. As if he had vanished in thin air.
