Arabella Campbell

"You know, after what Sirius did to you he's fallen down to -1,000 in most shagable."
Commented Eileen. The trio had just entered the great hall, ready for the welcoming feast and the sorting. Arabella had just told them the reason for Remus and her's temporary end of friendship. They have been asking since the day they never approached each other.

"This isn't bragging or making you feel bad, but this is what happens when you don't listen to me."
Julien said as the three girls sat down at the Ravenclaw table. Immediately, Arabella searched the Gryffindor table for a familiar boy with sandy color hair. She found him, he sat and laughed with his friends, oblivious of the girl that starred at him.

"Wow, your starring at Lupin."
Commented Eileen before she started to applaud someone who had just sorted into Ravenclaw.

"You never stare, are you alright? Do you feel hot?"
Teased Julien, she placed her hand on Arabella's forehead for extra effect. Arabella batted her hand away and sent a playful glare to the pair.

"I'm pretty sure the sorting ceremony is much more interesting than where my eyes are looking at."
Julien and Eileen heard the threat in her tone which made them quickly focus on the sorting ceremony.

Arabella was about to as well but decided to take one more glance at Remus before doing so. She didn't expect to see Remus' eyes connect with her, she didn't expect him to be already looking in her direction so she immediately looked away, towards the young boy sorted into Hufflepuff.

Because of that, She decided she wouldn't give Remus a single glance, that she would focus on her new housemates, her friends, and the program, and nothing else.
Though she had to admit it was painfully difficult especially with the holes Remus bore into her skull.

"I'm gonna stop by the Library, I need to get some references for the Potions essay."
In all honesty, Arabella didn't need a book at all. She had just wanted to get away from her friends. She had been spending a lot of time with them in the first week in, and she noticed a lot of... Tension.

Currently, she felt like a third wheel. There were conversations where Julien and Eileen were fully immersed in that they forgot Arabella was there. There were times where she caught Eileen starring at Julien and vise versa. There were lingering fond stares Arabella noticed the other sent in the middle of conversations. Of course, Arabella knew what it could all possibly mean. Honestly, she didn't care if they liked girls, she just wanted them to get a move on and get together already, being in their tension was too much for Arabella which caused her to make up excuses to leave the two alone.

Once she entered the library, she darted towards the fictional section. Fictional books would be her second choice after Floriography books, it seemed there were currently no Floriography books in the library so she chose fiction. She entered the aisle, eyeing the familiar titles of books with muggle and wizard authors but also the ones with foreign titles and authors, her hands lingered on the spine of the aged books.

As if there were a switch flipped inside her, she paused once she felt his presence beside her, once she saw him in the corner of her eyes, once she took in that chocolatey scent of his.

She wasn't ready, she wasn't ready for him to tell her how he regretted that kiss. She wasn't ready to lose him just because of her impulsiveness.

"We don't have to talk about it."
She assured, it seemed the title of the book was so interesting that she couldn't take her eyes of the spine but in reality she was only afraid to look him in the eye, to see how he looked at her with hatred.
