Y/n's pov:

I stared down at the croissant in my hand as I walked to school. I wasn't in the mood to eat. "Hey, Y/n, aren't you hungry?" I looked up to see Lila with a worried look on her face.

"Not really," I frowned.

"Are you nervous about your first day at my school?" Lila teased, nudging me a bit.

"Yeah.." I sighed. Lila and I became close friends in middle school. The fact she lies so much doesn't bother me since I can always tell when she's lying. Today was my first day at Lila's school. To be honest, the reason I was really nervous was because Gabriel Agreste's son goes to that school. Lila talks about him nonstop.

My thoughts were interrupted by a scowl coming from a blue-haired girl with pigtails. I tried to ignore her and followed Lila into the school. When we got to the classroom, Lila started introducing me to everyone. "Please take your seats, everyone," the teacher said firmly as she entered the class.

"Ms. Bustier, can the new student sit next to me in the front? She told me she has difficulty seeing the board," Lila said happily, winking at me. The teacher nodded and I sat down next to her. I looked around and noticed the blue-haired girl from before glaring at me.

I leaned in and whispered to Lila, "Hey, why does that blue-haired girl keep glaring at us?"

Lila smirked and whispered back, "Oh, that's Marinette. She just hates me for no reason." I held in a laugh when she said the last sentence. It was obvious that was a lie.
