Austin's P.O.V

Having Delilah on tour with us was so much different to what I expected. Not bad different, she was awesome, but different as in she's adapted to everything a lot better than I thought she would. I thought it would be a whole new experience for her, which it was, but she got the hang of it after only two shows. After another two shows, she seemed to have made a few friends as well. She was hanging out with the guys from Pierce The Veil a lot, and something Sleeping With Sirens. I took her to see All Time Low one time and she began to shake. I didn't think she liked them, but maybe she kept it a secret for some weird reason.

"Austin this is our fourth set on this fucking tour and each time you've been fucking late to get to the stage!" Alan yelled, and I realised that there were only seconds before I was supposed to be up there with my band. I sprinted from the backstage lounge to sidestage and picked up a microphone. Del stood sidestage and watched my band perform. I belted out the notes as perfectly as I could, and the crowd screaming back at me made me so happy. When there was a break from my screaming, I couldn't help but giggle to myself because I was that happy. When the song had finished, I looked over at Delilah, who was in a heap on the floor. I was having a fight in my head on whether to rush over to her or not. After a second of this battle, I sprinted over to check on her. There were tears streaming down her face and she looked a wreck.
"What happened?" I asked her, almost having to yell over the crowd.
"My brother- I saw him in the crowd!" What? Brother? I didn't know Delilah had a brother.
"What's his name?" I asked her. I was really digging a grave for myself here- I was supposed to be up there screaming, but instead I'm talking to someone because she was crying.
"James.." She said, looking confused.
I ran back to the centre of the stage and tried to make the crowd go nuts. "How the fuck are we doing today?" I yelled into the microphone, and the crowd erupted into a chorus of screams and squeals. I wanted to get James up here, but I didn't want the crowd to get pissed off. I know our fans like happy things, so an idea came to my mind.
"So I brought my friend Delilah on Warped Tour with us this year, and she's the strongest person I've ever met, you know why? She fucking survived. I want you all to say hi to her!" I motioned for Delilah to come out on stage, and Alan grabbed her hand and pulled her out, a huge grin on his face. She came and stood next to me, and I put my arm around her shoulder.
"There's someone else here today, someone that might recognise her, even though I'm assuming they haven't seen each other in a very long time." I started. Delilah's face went white and I gave her a reassuring squeeze around her shoulders.
"Can a James Thomas come on stage please?" I asked the crowd, who all looked slightly confused. I thought nobody was going to come up, but then I saw a young man near the front of the crowd raise his hand hesitantly. I heard a muffled sob come from Delilah and I saw the pain in the mans eyes before a security guard allowed him over the barrier and up on stage. Delilah instantly released from my grip and ran to her brother, hugging him tightly. The crowd erupted into a roar of cheers before I allowed Delilah and James to go and watch from sidestage again while we finished our set.

I'd given Delilah and her brother a few hours to talk before I went into the back room of the tour bus to officially meet him. It was kind of awkward talking to him at first, but then I realised he was actually a really awesome dude. He was a lot like Del, just older and manlier. He was 22, but he acted a lot younger than that. I really wanted to know where he was when his sister was breaking down, but I didn't want to sound like a douchebag either.
"Why haven't you guys seen each other in so long?" I tried to ask him without sounding like a dick.
"I moved away from Florida after Mum died." He said awkwardly.
"You mean after Dad fucking killed her.." Del murmured. Holy shit, he killed her!?
"I know you hate him, we all hate him, but it wasn't proved so you can't say that." James snapped.
"Wait, how long has your dad actually been the way he is now?" I asked them both before they started fighting or something.
"As long as I can remember. Before I moved out I would take Del to the zoo or something whenever dad was at home." James told me.
"Why didn't you ever report the abuse that happened?" I questioned. I could see Delilah was getting sick of all of the questions, but I honestly had to know.
"Well Dad would've murdered us, but being a complete drug freak I don't think the police would've believed me." James laughed. I didn't think it was very funny, but some people just have a weird sense of humour.
"Drugs..?" I said, confused.
"Everyone has their ways of dealing with things." He said bluntly, and we quickly left the topic. We didn't want to dwell on such a depressing issue any longer.

I left the two to talk some more, and went over to the Pierce The Veil tour bus. They were all lazing around, Baylee and Tony with their hands all over each other. I sat down next to Vic who seemed repulsed by the couples "Who's cuter" game. They wouldn't stop going on about how cute the other one was and how happy they were.
"Fuck happiness.." Vic murmured. I half slapped his arm. I didn't want him thinking happiness was a bad thing. He was my friend and I didn't want him being so upset. We talked for a while, and right when Vic was about to get up and walk to his bunk, Tony and Baylee both ran in there, clearly horny by the looks of Tony's pants. Vic let out an annoyed sigh and grabbed a blanket so he could sleep on the couch.
"Fuck that, we have an extra bunk if you wanna sleep in our bus tonight!" I offered, and Vic was obviously very tired because all he did was smile slightly and nod his head. He looked like he was using a massive amount of effort to keep his eyes open.

After Vic had fallen asleep, I went to check on Delilah, who was still sitting in the back room. This time she was lying down on the couch, twirling something around in her fingers. She didn't notice that I was there, and as I got closer I saw that the item the had was a massive razor. Instantly, I ripped it from her hands and looked at her in shock.
"Where the fuck did you get this?" I exclaimed.
"Vic gave it to me when he was drunk. He said I might need it." She said. Her voice was shaky and I noticed her eyes were puffy from crying.
"Del, what's the matter?" I asked, sitting next to her.
"I told James that I tried to kill myself and now I regret it." She whispered, looking up at me.
I didn't need her to explain any further. I could tell what had happened. I wrapped my arm around her in a hug and she ended up crying for a further ten minutes. I hated to see people like this, especially someone as beautiful and amazing as Del.
