"Dylan! Hurry up lest your flight will miss.'' My mom shouted.

''Coming mom!'' I screamed running downstairs.

Today's my flight to California. I'm supposed to go there for some work.

''Is it so important to go?" Mom asks. I know she's upset to leave me.

''Yeah mom. I need to go there.'' I sigh.

''Have a safe journey.'' She hugs me.

''Hmm..'' I kiss her forehead and pick up my laggage and stepped out of the house.

''Give me a call as soon as you reach!'' She says standing near the door.

''Definitely.''

I reached California. Im in the hotel room right now trying to sleep. I'm so tired.

California is way beautiful than i thought it would be. It has a pleasant whether with friendly people around.

I have a friend here Luke. He's going to give me a tour in this beautiful place. Its 3:00 p.m and he can reach here anytime.

I got up went to the washroom to take a shower.

I wore my white shirt with a black blazer and black jeans. I apply some gel to set my hair. I look perfectly fine. I hear three knocks on the door and opened it to only see mh friend, Luke. He's still the same.

''Hey dude! Whats up man?'' He hugs me.

'' Hey. Im good. Long time no see.'' I hug him back.

''Seems like you forgot me.'' He says.

''Huh! Me and forget you? Impossible." I said.

''Oh...Now that your here. Im gonna show you this beautiful place!'' He says moving his hands in the air.

''Lets go then.''

Its been 2 hours since I'm roaming around this place and its soo amazing. Everything here is so beautiful. But right now im extremely tired and I'm starving, so we are here in Cafeteria.

''So how are your parents?'' Luke asks.

''They're fine.''

''And hows your life going? Its been a whole year since i haven't talk to you.'' He says taking a sip of his coffee.

''Everything's going smooth. Cameron, as you know, he never took anything seriously but fortunately he is taking his career seriously now. And he'll be moving here in few days.'' I said.

''Oh..Cameron..yeah i remember that dick.'' He says rolling his eyes.

Luke never really liked Cameron because of his popularity in the campus and the fact that all the girls used drool over him, including Luke's girlfriend. So, though he never admitted it but he was kinda jealous of him. And always tried to avoid him from his girlfriend.

Cameron is my best friend and my only brother. Though he's younger to me, he still knows everything about me...everything.

''Hellooo?'' Luke waves his hand in front of my face and ...he breaks the track of my thoughts.

''Where are you lost bro?'' He asks.

''Uh..nothing.'' I take a sip of my coffee.

I face Luke to say something and open my mouth but no words come out as I notice a girl behind him whose seated on a chair with a book infront of her. She's wearing big round glasses with a messy bun and some bangs falling on the sides of her face. I tilt my face a little to see her completely and she's wearing blue washed ripped jeans with a plain white shirt with a long silver necklace. And though she's simple she mananges to look...

''Yeah say ..I'm waiting'' Luke says.

''So beautiful.'' I spit it out.

Luke's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. ''Whose so beautiful?''

He then notices that I'm looking someone behind him and he turns back.

''Oh..she'' He says and turns back to face me.

''Who is she ?'' I ask getting curious.

''Chill...she's not those types. She's Stella, 19 years old. She lives with her mom nearby and her mom runs this book shop. She's one of the prettiest girls here ..But she's not to mess up with.'' He says emphasizing the word 'But'.

That jerk. He thinks I'm gonna do something like that. Lol...never can I do that to her.

''Oh please... I didn't mean like that Luke.'' I said annoyingly. ''Anyways, I'm tired. Can you drop me back to the hotel?''

''Sure.''
