The stranger stood before the tall doors of the palace. His breathe hitched upon feeling the snow touching the fabric covering his body. It wasn't enough though to make him feel warm from the cold winter. Brushing off the white thick dust from his sleeves, he pushed the twin doors slightly to open narrowly, just for him to squeeze in.

In front of him beheld the well-decorated hall. Curtains of deep red covered the frosted windows. The carpeted floor felt pleasant on his steps compared to the snow covered ground outside. He sighed in solace as he paced towards the stairs to be able to get to his destination.

The legend he heard about a princess who fell into a comma was shut in this palace is the reason why he stands on the ground of this castle. The lady will only wake up to the kiss of a prince which he is himself. And by the time that happens, he will be able to marry the beautiful maiden and be able to receive a gift or a blessing. The legend never said any further for other people to know. It was up to them to find out the gift that was been told about after they set on this adventure to wake the fair lady up.

Soon enough, the prince arrives at the designated room. He took a deep breathe before prompting the door open. There revealed the beautiful lady lying on her bed, sleeping peacefully for who knows how long.

Her time of this eternal sleep will soon come to an end the moment the prince kisses her.

And so the man didn't waste anymore time. He made his way over to the side of the bed. He examines the maiden's visage and some of her features. Her long blonde curly hair was slightly spread over to the sides like of a beautiful vintage doll. Her lashes lay closed along with her lids as her pink lips were slightly parted. The dress she wore was black as the midnight making it seem she was not a princess at all.

The only thing that could show that she is of the royal bloodline was her captivating beauty.

Slowly, the prince leans forward for the kiss. Little by little, inch by inch, their lips were almost meeting.

When suddenly the maiden's eyes opened and shined blood red, revealing her true identity. Beneath her parted lips, retracted sharp fangs, ready to suck the life out of the young man. The princess wasn't a princess after all. He exclaimed as he tried to struggle from the female vampire's grip. However it was useless.

But what surprised her was that before she could even have his blood, the man suddenly fell down to the ground, lifeless. There was a knife stabbed behind the prince's back. Her eyes widened in shock as she scanned the whole place to look for the intruder who killed her prey.

She saw nobody not until she heard a voice of a man echoed from somewhere.

" It's not good to trick people, Naomi. "

Her teeth gritted in anger when she knew who it was. " Kai.."

Upon revealing his name, swarms of bat came from the corners in the room and they gathered in front, slowly reforming a figure. Soon enough the completed form revealed to be of a man- No, a vampire just like her. His hair was brown and wavy, reaching his shoulders. The same crimson eyes looked into hers. The man's black lips stretched into a smile as he made his way towards the undead maiden.

" What do you want that you have to ruin my dinner?" Naomi hissed, clearly enraged.

" No wonder, people who came here never came out alive. It is because you have them for food every night. " Kai chuckled in amusement.

" So?"

" I love that. Very good tactic to be able to have dinner. Using such a legend, and using your beauty that resembled the princess who once existed in that story. " He sang as she grabbed her chin, making her look to his eyes.

" Get out of here. " Naomi grunted as she averted her gaze away from him.

" How about instead of wasting your time pretending to sleep and wait for somebody to be your dinner, care to dine with me. " Kai offered making Naomi snap.

She stood up from the bed and walked pass him instead. Before she could even exit the room, the male vampire flashed in front of her, stopping her advances.

" Why not? Give me a chance then I'm sure you will not regret it. It's even better than trapping innocent princes. Don't waste your time with this. " he uttered mischievously, intimidating the female to back away.

" I'm fine, no thanks." Naomi's brows furrowed as she shook her head in disapproval.

" Are you sure about that?"

Once more, Kai walks his way to her, closing their distances again. She stood still as she met up with his gaze. They looked demanding and persistent when Naomi examined them. She knew him for a long time and in this attitude of his, she knew there was no stopping him.

Kai smiled when she saw her pierced her lips. He read her gestures and had guessed that she was gonna say yes. His smile turned into a grin the moment the maiden said the right word. " Well.. I guess. "

" Hmmm?" He hummed.

" Okay, I will come with you. " she sighed heavily.

" It's not so hard to say yes, does it Naomi?"

" In one condition." She added.

" Well then say it. "

...

" Please, can you do this constantly? I'm sick of the habit already. " She sighed, looking away.

Kai laughed. " Habit? You mean luring those princes for blood?"

The maiden glared at him, clearly embarrassed of her independence to him. She didn't want to hear anything from him anymore.

" Are you gonna have dinner with me or not?"

" Of course, it's my pleasure to do so. Shall we head out then, my princess, or should I say... my queen?" He chuckled.
