"Hey, Zander, go help your brother get out of the ball pit, will you?" Zander's dad pointed at Zander's little brother, James, struggling to escape the ball pit. Zander sighed.
"Fine." Zander stomped to the ball pit. James always got everything in their family all because he was younger. If that was Zander struggling to escape, he would be told "you're big enough to get out yourself". James would always get all the attention, too. Whenever he was in trouble he would barely be punished, but when Zander got in trouble he would get punished. Zander rarely got any attention from his parents anymore, and their excuse was that it was cause he was 18, almost 19. Whenever Zander asked to do anything, his parents would usually say no, yet when James would ask, it was instantly a yes. Zander wasn't even able to go to his friend's house because of Jame's! He was nearly the bane of Zander's existence, even though he was only 10, 8 years younger than Zander.
"Hey, Twerp, Grab my hand and get out of there." Zander held his hand out to James. James grabbed his hand and Zander pulled him out.
"Thanks, Zandy!" James gave Zander a big hug.
"Get off of me. And I told you not to call me that." Zander gave James a nasty look. James ran back into the play area of Freddy's while Zander made his way towards the table with his friends. Zander was only at Freddy's because his friend's younger sibling was having their birthday party there. Sadly, it wasn't the only time he would be here this week. On Friday, James's birthday is also being held at Freddy's.
"Hey, Zander!" Zander's best friend, Mike, gave him a high five followed by a fist bump.
"Sup." Zander took a seat next to them all, sitting next to his girlfriend, Baylee.
"Hey, babe." Baylee kissed Zander.
"Dude, this place is mega boring." Another of Zander's friends, Andrew was messing around on his phone.
"Hey, I know a way we can make today more interesting." Mike leaned towards everyone.
"Oh yeah? And how's that?" Baylee looked over Zander's shoulder.
"The back rooms near the bathrooms. I looked and there isn't a lock on it. We should go explore it!" Mike stood up.
"That sounds a lot more fun than sitting around and watching our little siblings." Andrew stood up as well. Baylee and Zander both stood up at the same time and began to follow Mike as he made his way into the bathroom corridor. As they walked deeper, the corridor got darker and darker.
"In here guys" Mike opened a door that had 'parts and services' labeled on it. Mike headed in with the rest following behind them. It was dark and cold, and when the door shut Zander couldn't see anything.
"There should be a light switch around here somewhere..." Mike searched the walls for a light switch. After waiting for a couple of seconds, the lights finally flickered on. The room lit up, revealing many shelves filled with animatronic parts and heads. Zander could count at least 5 heads of each character that played on the show stage. In the middle of the room was a table that had the head of Freddy, and what looked to be a metal skeleton which was used to control the suits for the animatronics.
