M E R C Y'S POV
I COULD NOW SEE the house of his uncle― my heart is now starting to get pretty nervous. At madaming mga negatibong pangyayari pumapasok sa isipan ko. Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko. Dapat ba akong makampante?― No way! I shouldn't. A devil is a devil, hindi na iyun magbabago.

"You ready, wifey ko?" Napalingon ako kay Achlys. He was smiling. At hindi ko maiwasang hindi ngumiti― his smile really is a medicine, it makes me smile also. Nakakahawa.
"Oo, naman." Kahit hindi, I need to. Acting tough can be a defense for me now. After all this is the only thing I have now.

"Why, is our baby craving something?" I felt his hands on my tummy and caressed it. Tila hinaplos yung puso ko sa mga salita nito. Damn, hindi na tuloy ako nakapagsalita. Sana ganito nalang palagi.
"Ahm, wala naman. Well― I was... Gusto ko lang sabihin na. Could you do me a favor?" He then smiled at me when he heard those words.
