Another mundane day back in Teyvat, and as usual.. The traveler, Lumine, has been doing a set of commissions in exchange for primogems. There are times that she'll boost her reputation within the 3 cities she has visited: Monstadt, Liyue and Inazuma. She already maxed her reputation within the first 2 cities, now she's currently doing reputation quests for Inazuma.
It wasn't easy travelling a land with a benevolent and omnipotent god who wants her dead for disobeying her commandment. However, throughout her adventures.. Lumine had learned to become a stealthy individual. With the help of her befriended allies, she could explore the land at ease.
Although she hasn't fully explored the land of omnipotence, Lumine still travels back to the place where she first started her journey; Mondstadt.
Something about the city of freedom gives her a sense of.. relief. Not because she's not a wanted criminal in contrast to Inazuma, but it was probably because of the amount of nostalgia she gets whenever she sees the castle-esque city by the horizon. Not only that, but this was her starting point. While she was clueless where her brother could have been, Lumine found the city to be very welcoming of an outlander like her.
All of the people give you a warm welcome upon stepping in the city, what's not to love about Mondstadt?
Lumine sits on top of Starsnatch cliff, admiring the oceanic scenery right in front of her as he sways her legs from the edge of the mass from time to time.
However, despite the happiness surrounding the outlander.. she could still feel the loneliness within the depths of her stomach. That awfully familiar feeling when she found her brother siding with the abyss during one fateful encounter has risen and gave her a sickly feeling to the point of throwing up.
Her companion notices the strange behavior of the traveler and decides to pop up from thin air to ask her how she's feeling.
"You've been quiet within the past minute, are you feeling well..?" Paimon has an evident expression of worry plastered on her face as she peered through the traveler's eyes. When she saw Lumine's tear-filled glistening, she immediately floated towards a patch of Cecilia Flowers to pick one. In hopes to cheer Lumine up. "Do you want to talk to Paimon about it? Paimon may not know the feeling of having your brother separated away from you, but Paimon will do her best to cheer you up!"
