Snorting, you stretched your arms above your head and looked up at the sky, which was radiantly beautiful, which, seemed like a bad joke at the moment. Because if you turned your head to the side, you could see how city below, was partially on fire.
After a few quiet minutes lying on the grass of the hill and coming to rest, you felt a faint blow of your fist hitting your shoulder.
Slowly you looked to the side where Yelena lay giving a faint nod. The job was done, though not in the way it was planned, nonetheless it was done. You were alive, although in the meantime, it had looked quite different.
"Two idiots who got lucky again, huh?" you began to laugh.
"We must have something if we have nothing else," Yelena countered, watching you gradually straighten up and stand up in the aftermath, "Next time we see each other, make sure your karma account isn't in the negative."
"Like yours?" you countered as you held out your hand to help Yelena to her feet, "I'll see you around, and if anything comes up, you know how to reach me."
