I. Is this an 'x reader'?
Yes, but not the typical one. All relationships can be read as platonic or a childhood crush at best but there's no straight-up romance.
II. How old are the kids?
That is up to you. I'm writing this having in mind kids no older than 14 at most but it's a reader insert so it's really not my place to state the age. Just saying - I'm not much older than them, not an old creep trying to age up minors for some disturbing purposes. [I mean, this book will get violent but not more than the source material.]
III. Is the book focused on one of the boys?
No. While you don't get along with everyone this isn't a romance story and all characters will get some time for themselves.

IV. What is the reader's gender?
It's up to you! This is gender neutral. While it makes more sense for the reader to be a boy it doesn't matter so I don't specify anything about your gender identity.

VI. How regular will be the uploads?
No idea. School started and I have a lot of things going on, I'm head girl✨ and I have a lot of activities too. Plus I won't lie, I prefer hanging out with my friends than writing. But! I do write ahead so I'll try not to make you suffer for months
VII. How book-based is the story?
5/10. It has it's own plot, I try to show different moments that we didn't get to see in the book. It's more about the reader dealing with the events and all. There will be fishing, playing with kids and probably burying someone so I hope to keep your interest for at least a few chapters.
