"Psst,"
Mikasa shifted in her sleep
"Psst Mikasa!"
Mikasa gave a small groan and pulled the blanket over her head. Suddenly, she was shaken from her subconscious.
"MIKASA WAKE YOUR ASS UP!"
Her eyes shot open, Mikasa was pissed. She was about to slap the culprit, until she realized it was Sasha Blouse. Sasha was a fellow member of the 104th.
"Sasha? What do you want." Mikasa asked. Sasha gave an excited smile.
"Sorry to bother you, I just wanted to show you something really special."
"Oh," Mikasa sat up. "Um, okay."
Sasha gave a squeal and Mikasa shushed her, the last thing they needed was to wake up the entire girls cabin. God knows that they didn't need another cranky Ymir day. Sasha grabbed Mikasa's hand. Mikasa felt her face heat up. Sasha's hand was soft, and warm. She had the urge to take Sasha's hand and put it on her face. She quickly shook the thoughts from her head. Sasha led her outside and into the mess hall. She put her hands over Mikasa's eyes and led her in.
"Ready?!" she squealed.
"Sasha!" Mikasa laughed. "Come on already," Sasha removed her hands and smiled.
Mikasa was surprised. On the table was a huge basket filled with treats. There were loaves of bread, pastries, and any other baked good imaginable.
"Sasha, what's this for?!" Mikasa asked.
"You saved my life a few days ago, when I missed the titan I was supposed to kill. I can't ever pay you back, but I thought that maybe this would be a good start."
She stared at Sasha. The girl was smiling, but Mikasa could see the dark lines underneath her eyes. It looked as if she hadn't slept in two days.
"Sasha, this wasn't necessary, you don't even have to thank me." She picked up a loaf of bread. "But wow, this is the sweetest thing anyone's done for me in a while." Mikasa broke the loaf in half. "Do you want so-"
Mikasa was interrupted by a loud snore from Sasha. She smiled and placed a light kiss on Sasha's forehead.
"Thank you,"
