My Little Bugaboo

Chapter 4

Cat Noir sat on top of Marienette's balcony and waited for her to come back up. He sighed as his belt like tail waved from side to side. The hatch behind him opened causing him to turn his head. "It's kinda cold tonight. I brought you some hot chocolate." She said as she walked over to the hero on her balcony railing. 

Cat Noir smiled as he grabbed the warm mug. "Why thank you purrincess." He said as he took a sip. "Oh my god the cat puns are gonna be the reason I push you off." She groaned and looked at him. They both shared a laugh and looked at the stars. "So why did you visit?" Marinette asked. Cat Noir looked at her then the mug. "I don know. I just wanted to see how you were doing I guess." He said quietly and smiled a little.

Marinette looked up at Cat Noir. "Well..I feel ok, school is a pain, and I have my one of my best friends next to me making sure I'm ok sooooo I'd say its a bit of a mix but I'm doing good. Thank you for checking up on me." She smiled a little. That smile...Cat Noir got distracted as he looked at her. Marinette noticed him being distracted and poked his nose. "Hey kitty? You ok?" She asked and Cat Noir snapped out his thoughts. 

"Huh? Yea." He smiled and looked back at the sky. He sighed and looked at the mug and took another sip. "I hope so. You look a little lost in your own head." Marinette said as leaned on the railing. "I guess I do have a lot on my mind.." Cat Noir said as he looked at her. "Well..do you want to talk about it or is it top secrete super hero stuff I cant know about?" She smiled. 

Cat Noir chuckled and shook his head. He hopped off the railing and leaned back on it. "No it's not. I kinda wanna talk about it but you cant say anything to anyone ok." He said and looked at her. Marinette looked up at him. She nodded and gave him a soft smiled. "I promise." She said quietly. Cat Noir smiled and looked at the mug in his hands. "There's this girl...I think I might like her. The thing is I feel like its wrong. I still love Ladybug, I mean how couldn't I..shes smart, brave, shes got these beautiful eyes. I can help but smile when she looks at me." He said quietly and sighed. 

"You really love her. I surprised you would even find someone else considering how much you've talked about her." Marinette giggled a bit. "Yea yea dont you start." Cat Noir said looking at her with a smile. Marinette nodded and motioned that her lips were zipped. Cat Noir rolled his eyes at her but his heart was racing. He felt butterflies in his stomach. "The thing is this girl is sweet, silly, confident, shes adorable, and she's helped me a lot..I just..I feel like I cant like them both. It doesn't seem loyal to M'lady." Cat Noir mumbled and looked at Marinette. 

Marinette nodded a bit. "Liking different people isn't bad. It's normal. There are a tone of people who love different people." She said and looked up at him. "Well what should I do?" Cat Noir asked as he stood next to her. Marinette drank some of her hot chocolate. "Well, if you like her enough to question your love for Ladybug then she has to be amazing. You should try and take things slow. talk to her, spend time with her, and just get to know each other." Marinette replied. 

Cat Noir frowned. "What if I can't be with her cause shes with someone else? Or what if me being with her puts her in danger cause of who I am?" He said quietly and looked at Marinette. "If you truly love her then wait for her. I'm sure she will feel safe if shes with you." Marinette looked at him. "I mean your Cat Noir, I've seen you fight and you've protected me so many times. If I she doesn't then shes just weird. Your kind, strong, cute, and you know how to make people happy." Marinette said quietly and looked at the sky. 

Cat Noir blushed a bit and looked at the stars. It always surprised him the more he saw how different she was around him..or well Adrien. Like she was scared to talk or something. He looked at Marinette. Her nose was a soft pink as well as he cheeks. A breeze came in and she shut her eyes. the blanket on her shoulders fell off and she shivered a bit. 

"How about we go in your room. You look cold." Cat Noir smiled and picked the blanket up. Marinette looked at him. She nodded a bit as he wrapped her up in the blanket. He grabbed her hot chocolate from her hands and walked over to the hatch. "Ladies first." He winked and smiled. "You dork." She giggled and climbed in. Cat Noir followed behind her and gave her the hot chocolate once they were sat down on her bed. 

Marinette leaned on him while holding the mug. Cat Noir looked at her seeing she was just trying to warm up. He put their mugs down and wrapped his arms around her. He leaned back on the wall and pulled her into his lap. "What are you doing?" Marinette asked quietly. "Well as your knight I can't just let you freeze princess." He smiled. 

Marinette giggled and rolled her eyes. Cat Noir smiled and watched her as she relaxed and laid her head on his chest. He laid his head on hers and stayed like that till she warmed up. After a little bit he looked at her and noticed her eyes where shut. "Mari?" He said quietly but no response. 

Cat Noir realized she fell asleep and he could feel his heart pounding. He looked around seeing the time. He sighed a bit and held her closer to him. He soon got up and laid her down. Cat Noir tucked Marinette into bed. Her phone went off and he looked at it seeing a text from Luka. He rolled his eyes and climbed out the hatch onto the balcony. "Sleep well princess." He said softly before shutting it and going home. 

Once he was in his room he let his transformation off and stood there. "Ask the girl your falling for how to make a move. Now if you do that shes for sure gonna know its her." Plagg laughed. "No she's not, cause I'm not going to do it." Adrien mumbled and laid on his bed. "I need time to figure things out for myself..even if I do that shes still with Luka. What am I supposed to do then." He sighed. "Did you not hear the whole wait for her part?" Plagg rolled his eyes and flew to his cheese. 

Adrien watched him. He sat down on his bed and looked at the picture of his friends on his phone. Adrien let out a sigh and looked at Marinette. "If ladybug wasn't around maybe I would have noticed these feelings before it was to late.." He frowned.
