Chapter 14: Proud

"Anna, what are you doing here"

I saw Professor Lupin and Harry walking together at the bridge so I decided to go with them

"Walking" I said as Professor Lupin smiled at me

"Hello Anna"

"Hi Professor"

"No I mean why aren't you at Hogsmeade with the others" Harry asked

"I heard that you couldn't go so I decided to stay and spend some time with you. I know I know, you don't have to tell me. I'm amazing, and the best sister in existence, I already know that. And I also don't mind at all spending some time with the best teacher of the entire universe"

"Well, thank you dear" Professor Lupin smiled

After walking for a bit admiring the fabulous view of Hogwarts Harry interrupted the silence

"Professor, can I ask you something"

"You want to know why I stopped you facing that Boggart. Yes. I would have thought it would be obvious, I assumed it would take the shape of Lord Voldemort just like Anna"

How did he knew exactly

"I did think of Voldemort at first, but then I remembered that night on the train and the Dementor"

"I'm very impressed, that suggests that what you fear the most is fear itself. This is very wise"

"Before I fainted, I heard something, a woman screaming"

"Well Dementors forces to relieve our very worst memories, our pain becomes their power"

As I put everything together, I knew exactly who it was

"I think it was our mother" me and Harry said together "The night she was murdered"

"You know the first time I saw you Harry, I recognized you immediately. Not by your scars, but your eyes, they are your mother, Lily's" we looked at him

"Yes, oh yes, I know her, your mother was there for me at a time when no one was, not only was she a singularly gifted witch, she was also uncommonly kind, she had a way of seeing the beauty in others even and perhaps most especially that person could not see it in themselves, and your father James on the other hand-"

"Wait, you know my father too"

"Yes Anna, yes. He had a certain, shall we say talent for trouble. A talent he passed unto both of you, especially you Anna. You're more like him then you know Harry, time you'll both come to see just how much. And you Anna, you're a little version of him, the same person. When I look at you, I see him. he loved pranking people so much, him and his... friends spent half of their time pranking or talking about Lily, and of course your father couldn't stop talking about her" he said smiling

"Really"

"Yeah, you know, he loved you so so much, more than you could imagine" I let out a giggle and smiled at him "You loved it didn't you" he continued "when you saw him as your boggart"

"Yeah I was, very much. But he's not my Boggart Professor, I'm not afraid of my dad. It's just this c- cup thing"

"You don't to explain yourself Anna, I know he's not your fear. I understand"

I nodded in respond even tho I know he didn't understand

Did he?

"He will be proud of you Anna. He is proud of you, I'm so sure"

Without thinking I went and hugged him

I have to deal with my hugging problems

"Thank you professor, thank you so much. You don't know how happy you make me" I said holding my tears

I feel so safe with him

Like he is the father I never had

He hugged me back and gave me some chocolate

"you know how to make me feel good, don't you professor" I said smiling as he returned it

When Finn, George and Fred came back from their Hogsmeade trip they told me everything about it and gave me all the things they bought me

Yeah, without forgetting that at one point they would have made me do the unbreakable vow to go with them next time

My head start spinning from all the loud noises as I'm not used to that at all, so I took one of the books I bought and headed to the library to read it in peace
