the car ride was awfully quiet. too quiet that i can hear ringing in the both of my ears.. my heart pounding.. and i'm pretty sure she can hear it..

none of this would have happened if I just apologized sincerely..

"We're at your destination," the driver said.

I opened my door and I quickly went to the other side of the car and opened hers. "Such a gentlewoman" The empress said chuckling at me which I turned red.

i would have slammed the door on you empress.

"So, what is all this?" the empress asked.

I continued to blush and stayed quiet.
"Don't tell me.. this really is a date? Haha, who knew the infamous y/n can be so romantic," she said as she continues to tease me.

"Ah shutup woman, if you want, we can just go home and forget all about this crap."

She stopped laughing. "Hm, I don't think so. I'm sorry for laughing, this is really nice. Thank you for doing this." she said as she gently smiles at me.

My eyes then shined at that short last sentence. I felt.. my heart beat..

"Oh? Well, aren't you gonna offer me a seat."

"A seat? Ha. I didn't bring chairs. We're sitting down there."

"What?! On the ground??"

"It's fake grass.."

"So what? Is this a picnic date??"

"Yeah? We can watch the sun set .." i watched her disappointed face

"Um.. sorry if i didn't bring chairs.. I just didn't think you'd wear a dress."

"I always wear a dress to anywhere I go. But it's fine, I can sit."

It was so awkward. Jeez, I'm almost getting cold feet. I wanna run as far away as possible. Why did i have to make this dumb dinner. i'm regretting it so much.. i wanna die..

"I kinda asked that blonde lady ur favorite dish and she said this was your favorite."

She dips in her beef to the boiling sauces.

i grabbed her hand. "IF THIS ISN'T TO YOUR LIKING, WE CAN JUST ORDER SOME OTHER FOOD," i said as i felt somewhat .. afraid of how the food turned out
