My Brothers Best Friend (Jack Johnson Fanfiction)

Chapter 9

Mellisa's POV

It's been 1 month since me and Jack began dating. It's hard to keep it a secret, I think people are beginning to suspect things. By people I mean Mahogany and Ashley, the guys are completely oblivious. Mahogany keeps smirking at me and Jack whenever we are near each other. I am beginning to get worried.

We walked out of the room and head to the elevator to meet everyone in the lobby. We are all going to go for dinner.

We stepped into the elevator and clicked the button. As soon as the doors closed Jack started to kiss me, then we heard a ding and he abruptly stopped as an cute old couple stepped into the Elevator.

When we reached the ground floor we quickly exited the awkward silence of the elevator to the hectic noise of the lobby. My brother saw us step out of the elevator and waved us over. We walked over smiling at him.

"Hey Mell, What's up?" he asked

"Nothing much, you know, same old same old. What's up with you?" I asked him.

"same." he laughed.

We all got into a limo and it drove us to a restaurant. It was pretty guiet as we walked in, but we all knew that was about to change as the boys got there. We walked over to a long table and sat down. I sat next to Jack (J) of coarse and Ashley sat next top my Brother. Across from me was Mahogany, and she kept smirking at me and Jack.

After we ate we just goofed around and had a lot of fun, I could feel someones eyes on me. I got nervous thinking it was Jack's (J), but when I turned around I saw Jack laughing with my brother. His hand gently held mine inder the table. I looke around to try and find out who's eyes it was, until my eyes landed on Mahogany who was staring at me and Jack.

"Hey guys, I need to use the Ladies room," Mahogany said standing up "Mell come with me" she motioned with her hand for me to follow. I looked to Jack (J) then let go of his hand standing up to follow Mahogany.

We walked into the Bathroom and she closed the door.

"What's up?" I barely finished as she started asking questions.

"okay, 1) are you and Jack dating? 2) why didn't you tell me? and 3) IS THAT A HICKEY ON YOUR NECK?!?!" she asked walking quickly over to me. I covered my neck. Oh my god do I realy have a hickey?

I walked over to the mirror to look at it. There it was plain as day, just a little covered by my hair.

"Oh my god Mahogany, do you think Jack (G) noticed?" I asked worried

"Nah, I think he's to occupied with Ashley tonight, but you should cover it just in case." she said grabbing her make-up bag from her bag.

"Thank god, Mahogany!" I said walking over and looking through the small bag.

"don't worry about it" she said taking some make-up and placing it on my neck where the horrible Hickey was. "but Mell, you didn't answer me, are you and Jack dating? and did he leave that?" she asked her and I couldn't look her in the eyes.

"Mell..." she sighed.

"what?" I asked

"you know what your brother's going to say when he finds out about this, right?" she said. I looked desperately at her.

"No, Please, Mahogany? you can't tell my brother, He won't let me see Jack again, and I love him" Isaid pleadingly looking her straight in the eyes.

"Geez, Mell" she sighed "fine, I won't tell Jack, but you will have to tell him eventually"

"yeah, eventually but not soon . . . hopefully" I smiled at her "thank you Mahogany! you are awesome!" I said giving her a big hug.

We finished applying the Make-up to my neck and headed back to the table.

I smiled at Jack as I sat down. He looked at me and gently slipped his hand back into mine, I smiled softly at him.

"you okay, babe?" he asked whispering into my ear.

"Of coarse, babe. don't worry" I assured him.

It started to get late and I was getting very tired, so I told my brother and he asked if jack (J) would be okay to go back to the hotel with me. of coarse Jack said yeah.

Me and Jack got into a limo and headed back to the hotel. once we got to our room the first thing I did was put my PJs on.

I walked out off the bathroom to find Jack in my bed sleeping. I smiled softly to myself and slipped in beside him. I was facing away from him when I felt his arms wrap around me, pulling me closer to his warm chest.

"Are you sure you are okay, Mell?" he asked me.

"Yes, Jack. I'm sure." I giggled

"You know, Mell I don't know how much longer we can keep sneaking around like this" Jack said, a serious tone in his voice.

"Yeah," I sighed "I know, babe, but I know my brother will flip out. He would flip out I was dating another guy too, but with you e would be even more angrier and I don't want him to hurt you" I said turning to face him.

"Mell, Jack has been my best friend since kindergarten, I don't think he will be that mad" He laughed slightly.

"No, Jack. You don't get it, it doesn't matter wether you have known him your whole life, he will be just as mad" I looked him right in the eyes "and I love you too much to let him hurt you" a single tear rolled down my cheek

"Aww babe, don't cry. I love you too. I promise I will find a way where no-one gets hurt. okay?" he asked stroking my cheek with his thumb.

"Okay. I love you, Jack"

"I love you too, Mellisa" he said and kissed my head before we both fell asleep.

A/N OMG I AM SO SO SO SO SORRY I HAVE NOT UPDATED THIS FANFIC IN LIKE FOREVER. I PROMISE I WILL UPDATE MORE. I HAVE BIG PLANS FOR THIS STORY, SO BE PREPARES. THE REASON I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN SO LONG IS BECAUSE IT IS EXAM WEEK WHERE I LIVE AND I AM STRESSED OUT. NORMALLY WRITING CALMS ME DOWN BUT I HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO SINCE I HAVE BEEN STUDYING. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND AND WNJOY THIS IMAGINE.
