Noahs pov
My moms van pulls into the gravel parking lot outside the band camp dorms.
"Bye honey be safe!" My mom calls as I grab my suit case and jump out of the car.
Right away Ian comes running out and tackles me
I push him off me then the only person Ive wanted to see comes out of the dorms.
Elia.
Next comes bella.
I run over to Bella and pull her into a hug since that's what Boyfriends do. Aj glares at me until I let go of her.
"We'll let you two catch up." Aj continues glaring at me as he leads everyone away leaving me with just Bella.
"How was Canada?" She asks
"Great." all I can think about is Elia.
Trombones have that affect on people.

After a field practice, a sectional and ensemble rehearsal we finally have some free time.
I'm with Bella . There is twenty minutes until curfew. We are sitting in the field behind the dorms where we had our first kiss a year ago .
"Band camp is perfect." I state looking into Bella's eyes
"You're perfect." she replies
I don't feel the normal warmth in my stomach I normally do when she talks to me. I hate this but it's out of my control.
"You are.." I try my best to smile
She leans her head on my shoulder and I try my best to enjoy the moment
"I love you." Bella says clearly
I grit my teeth together "I love you too." I force myself to say
Once 20 minuets pass we say goodbye and head back to our dorms. I go straight to Aj's because I need to talk to him.
Seth is there but he seems to occupied in his phone to be aware of anything.
"Help me!" I shout
Aj looks at me confused "what?"
"Help me break up with Bella"
I look over at seth who is now asleep?
"help me!" I yell again
"I'm not helping you break up with Bella for Addy."
"Addy?" I question "I like Elia."
"I'm lost. So Elia likes Seth, Seth likes Bella, Bella likes Noah and Noah likes Elia?" Aj asks
I lean against the wall rubbing my hands through my hair "I hate this!"
"Listen Noah, I'm only gonna keep your secret for another day. Figure it out. Im not going to hide stuff from Bella." says Aj

Next morning • still Noah's pov
I stand with Aj against the fence by the marching field, Bella walks up to us
"Hey look a boy who I need to see." Aj points at Ian before running off.
Way to be suttle.
"Hey Bella.." I trail off staring at my shoes
"Hey Noah.." she mocks my tone
I nervously laugh at her because I am at a loss for words at the moment .
"Are you okay?" she sees right through me.
"No. I'm not okay." I state "I so badly want us to work out. But I've devolved feelings on another girl"
Her smile drops and tears weld in her eyes "Wh..what?"
"Elia. I like Elia." I feel so bad.
"Last night.. I said I loved you. you said it back . You lied . " She covers her face with her hands so I won't see her cry.
Suddenly Ian runs over
"Bella bear why are you crying?" He asks
She takes her hands down, her eyes are already red and puffy "Im only dating tubas from now on." with that she walks over and onto the podium.
