Sam's pov
it was a thursday morning and it was raining. i had slept through my alarm and therefore was late to school. i sleepily shoved on some jeans and a tshirt and walked to school even though it was raining.

Freddie's pov
i had just met carly by the lockers and sam wasn't there. she had probably over slept like she always does. the bell rings and we all set off for our first lesson.

Sam's pov
i stumbled into first class and there was only one spare seat next to fredward benson. me and him had got slightly closer after our first kiss and i sorta maybe have a little crush- oh no i don't. anyways so i sit down next to him soaking wet and shivering.

Freddie's pov
sam had just come and sat down next to me. she was soaking wet and shivering. she then started fiddling with her pencil for some reason and that could only mean that she was nervous. i don't know why but i gave her a little reassuring smile. i then quickly look away before she kills me but to my surprise, she actually smiles back.

Sam's pov
for some reason i'm getting quite nervous and start fiddling with my pencil but that stops where freddie looks at me and gives me a little reassuring smile. i smile back but he quickly turns around before i could look back.

after first period, i went to the bathroom to warm up a little. i splash some water on my face and when i go out, freddie is standing by the lockers waiting for me. he puts his hand out for me to hold and we walk to next period together. best day ever!
