Colored With a Kiss (Jikook)

Part 12

Jungkook's POV:

I was running late, because my Dad asked me to run an errand for him. When I was entering the garden, I thought I saw my stalker. But since the person was leaving, I didn't get a good look. It just momentarily made my skin crawl.

I got back to our normal spot and Jimin wasn't around. I called for him a few times and there was no response. So I sat on the bench and waited. I waited for about an hour, and there was no sign of Jimin. I was growing concerned that something happened to him.

He told me that his kind were all over the woods, so I figured if I walked around asking the trees and flowers if they've seen Jimin maybe someone would answer. And if any human saw me, they would just think I was crazy. I could live with that.

Jungkook: Jimin! Has anyone seen Jimin? He was supposed to meet me here. I know someone out there can hear me. Please, just let me know if he's alright. He's usually already here waiting for me.

I'd been doing this for about a half an hour and was about to give up when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I let out a small scream.

Hoseok: Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. My name is Hoseok, I'm a good friend of Jimin's.

Jungkook: Oh, Jimin mentioned you. I'm Jungkook. Do you know where he is? He's usually waiting for me.

Hoseok: You haven't seen him today?

Jungkook: Not yet.

Hoseok: I wonder if he ran into the other human?

Jungkook: What other human?

Hoseok: The one that was spying on you two.

Jungkook: Uh oh. Do you know what he looks like?

Hoseok: He's got yellow hair, is a little taller than you, but skinny - not as muscular. He's very good looking, in a different sort of way from you.

Jungkook: I pulled out my phone and flipped to a photo. Is this him?

Hoseok: Yes, that's him.

Jungkook: That's not good.

Hoseok: Something wrong?

Jungkook: I don't know.

Hoseok: Who is he?

Jungkook: He's my stalker.

Hoseok: What's that?

Jungkook: He's someone I went out on a date with once, but then became obsessed with me.

Hoseok: Is he crazy?

Jungkook: A little bit, yes. I wonder if he did something with Jimin? Oh crap, I just remembered. I think I saw him leaving when I arrived. But Jimin wasn't with him.

Hoseok: He could have been small and you wouldn't have seen him.

Jungkook: That's true. So what do we do?

Hoseok: Let me check on something and I'll be right back.

Jungkook: I'll be here.

Hoseok's POV:

I blinked to Jimin's burrow first. Tae opened the door when I knocked, his shirt was on backwards and his hair was a mess.

Hoseok: Sorry to interrupt, but have you seen Jimin recently?

Taehyung: Not since he left for work this morning. Why? You look worried.

Yoongi appeared behind Tae.

Yoongi: What's going on?

Hoseok: Jimin's missing.

Yoongi: Are you sure? He didn't just wander off with that human.

Hoseok: No. Jungkook hasn't seen him and is worried. Now I'm worried too.

Taehyung: He was going to meet him at their usual spot.

Yoongi: Go tap into the network and see if you can find out what happened.

Taehyung: Is Jungkook waiting in their usual spot?

Hoseok: Yes

Taehyung: We'll meet you there. See what you can find out.

I blinked to the spot that has the majority of fungi in our woods. That way I'd have access to all the networks in the area at one time. It took me a couple minutes to rewind to the right time and spot, but then I saw it. That human seemed like he came prepared with a cage to grab Jimin.

I quick blinked to Jin's burrow and told them the situation. They would alert everyone else in our community to be on the lookout. When I blinked back to Jungkook, Tae and Yoongi were already there.

Jungkook: Was it him? Did he do something to Jimin?!

The human was clearly distressed and seemed to be on the verge of tears.

Hoseok: I'm afraid so. He had a small cage and captured Jimin in it. He accused Jimin of trying to steal you away, saying he's your boyfriend.

Jungkook: I swear, I only went out with him one time. It was a huge mistake. The guy is crazy.

I looked over and Tae was crying hysterically at the news. Yoongi wrapped his arms around him and was trying to comfort him.

Hoseok: He also called Jimin something. A leper-con?

Jungkook: (Looking confused) A leprechaun?

Hoseok: That's it. He said he wanted Jimin to take him to his gold.

Taehyung: (Crying) Jimin doesn't have any gold.

Yoongi: That human is clearly delusional. Babe, don't worry. We'll get Jimin back.

Taehyung: How? I knew this would happen if he got tangled up with a human!

We all looked over at Jungkook who was clearly distressed. His head was in his hands, but he looked up at us with resolve on his face.

Jungkook: You're right, this is my fault. But I will move heaven and earth to get him back. I promise.
