"huang is your batter, liu on deck, lee get ready."

"since when was there an announcer?" renjun muttered to himself before setting up in batters box.

jisung was on second and jaehyun was on third. there was only one out and that was from doyoung.

"let's go renjun!" yuta yelled from the dugout.

renjun looked towards coach moon for a sign. coach moon let him hit freely.

renjun sighed before getting in a final position.

renjun saw yangyang was subbed in for jungwoo which was kind of a good thing because yangyang was good at distancing his hits.

renjun decided to go with a bunt and so he positioned himself. he didn't give away the bunt he was planning to give off.

renjun tapped his helmet sending jaehyun and jisung a sign.

jaehyun remained taking a lead.

renjun took the bunt and jaehyun stayed halfway off towards home and half at third. jisung signaled jaehyun to return to third as he knew renjun could make it to first in time.

the ball was reached to first as renjun stepped on the bag. renjun extended his run by running first base out.

"safe!" the umpire made the safe gesture. renjun returned to first with a sigh.

yangyang got walked and jaehyun scored. jisung now occupied third, renjun was now at second and yangyang was held at first.

mark was up to bat and looked at renjun. renjun nodded and unwrapped his batting gloves before leaving the bag for a lead.

mark knew the signal and once the pitch was thrown and renjun held back at second.

mark's ball went over the fence and made a grand slam.

as everyone came in and mark made his rounds around the bases, the team rushed out to home plate to wait for mark to arrive. everyone made sure to touch the plates and mark arrived at home. mark touched the plate and everyone cheered. everyone but taeyong and chenle made their way to the dugout.

renjun fist bumped mark.

renjun got a sudden pain in his shin.

"are you alright?"

"still not recovered from that night?" mark asked renjun.

"nope." renjun lifted his pants to see the cut was bleeding. "it's been about three months. what the actual hell?" renjun winced. "this isn't normal." renjun sighed. "i'll be back." renjun pulled the pant leg down and went un to the assistant coach.

"coach!"

"yes huang!?"

"can i go to the bathroom?"

"sure, make it quick!"

renjun thanked the assistant coach before running out. renjun went to the bleachers instead and went up to his mom and brother.

"mom! did you bring your bag?"

"yes! it's right here."

renjun sat down in front of his mom and brother and lifted his pant leg.

"hey renjun!"
