Camelot. Once a thriving and powerful city, reduced to ruins and dust from a child who longed for the attention of their 'father', and Camelot would fall into ruin. At least, that's what would have happened. But time has warped, and things that shouldn't be, have sprouted up like weeds. It started with a city in 2004, and know it has taken us to the original castle of Camelot. But it isn't the one we know. Black spires surround the castle, and large mountainous ones emerge from it and touch the sky. A black fog engulfs Camelot and the surrounding area, with more black spires growing from the ground, spreading throughout the land like a plague. The epicenter of it all, is within the castle of Camelot, inside the throne room. This is where the black fog and spires are the worst. The rocks cover the walls, spreading all over them like, vines. The fog fills the entirety of the room, suffocating in feeling. Black spires sprout from the floor in random areas and directions, and in the far end of the room, is the throne. Black spires grow from it, and resting on or beside it, are weapons.
These weapons were once wielded by the legendary knights of the round table. The bow of Tristan is placed to the left side of the throne, and on the right is the sword of Lancelot. Set on the throne itself are the rest of the weapons of the knights, while resting on the backrest in all its glory, is Excalibur. The holy sword glows with a golden light, and none of the black fog seems to be able to generate near it. The swords light burns it away. The same cannot be said about the other weapons, however.
The weapons are placed in a circular pattern, surrounding an object that was floating atop the seat of the throne. It to, was giving off a glow, although quite faint, and it seemed to also be giving off a form of darkness, much greater than the light. And, kneeling before the throne, his right arm resting at his side, the left tightly clenching his spear, was Y/n. He was muttering to himself, his words hard to understand. Giggles escaped between his unintelligible words every few minutes. Then, he looked to the holy sword Excalibur, and began talking to it.
"My king. My friends. I come to you today to tell you the greatest of news!" The joy in his voice was unnatural, and the giggles that followed gave a feeling of dread. "My task is nearly complete! SOONSOONSOONSOONSOONSOON I CAN BRING YOU BACK! HEHEHEHAHAHA!!!" The laughter died down, and he continued with a somber tone. "But, I'm running out of time. It feels wrong to say such a thing, but I can feel it. Something, or SOMEONE, is coming to take the instrument of your revival. And I'm close. So close to bringing you back. The people, they could never understand. They couldn't understand the IMPORTANCE of their deaths. They all fled, or I used them as a source to bring you all back. Then those soldiers of blue started to show up. I tried to use them to, but it didn't work. None of the peoples souls are potent enough anymore to work as a source. But I'm sure I can find something to use! I have to! HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO!" His anger was spilling out at this point, but he released a rigid breath, calming himself in the process.
"The soldiers in blue keep showing up. Like weeds. They must know what lies at the end. They want the throne! It's the only thing here that they could possibly want! But don't worry, I'll NEVER let the unworthy filth tarnish your holy throne! IWONTIWONTIWONTIWONTIWONT!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
"Did you hear that?"
"I think it was coming from over there."
Y/n jerked his head to look over his shoulder. "And here they come now." He looked back to the throne and stood up. "Don't worry, no one will ever take the throne while your gone, not while I live." He turned to the entrance where the soldiers were now starting to appear, "In this life. Or the next. HAHAHAHA!!!" With his laughter filling the room, everything broke apart, shattering like glass, and all that remained was darkness.
