"i cant BELIEVE this" leon kuwata says to himself, frustrated, while walking down the dark alley next to hope's peak academy. "this fucker...th-th-this SORRY EXCUSE of a human being really fucking did this....i cant believe i was the THIRD person to die only to be revived last. fuck this shit" he says, almost screaming.

while he was passing by a trash can, he noticed a pair of eyes staring at him really intensely. the person the belonged to was burried under the shadows, so leon couldn't make out who it was. must be because i was screaming he thought to himself damn it. this is all that fucker's - what's his name again - makoto naegi's fault. now that person probably thinks im some kind of lunatic or something. as he was ready to turn right, he hears a voice from behind. "uh.. e-excuse me....". leon turns around, only to find the person from before peeking out from behind the trash can. ".. huh?" leon said, surprised. the mysterious person approached him slowly and asked "a-are you really leon kuwata, the famous baseball star?". leon glanced at the man standing in front of him, and scanned him with his eyes. he had long, red hair, a ton of piercings on his face, and was wearing simple black and slightly oversized clothes. judging by his appearance, leon couldnt believe such an intimidating guy got so flustered and shy, but didnt think much of it. he probably dresses like this to rebel against his parents or whatever he thought to himself. "yeah, that's me" he replied, putting on a fake smile. the man infront of him flinched and put his hand over his mpotj. "REALLY?? im such a huuuge fan of yours. i cant believe i got the chance to meet you so randomly! my name is kyriakos but you can call me sinboy... im a soundcloud rapper" leon tried his hardest not to laugh sinboy...what a stupid name he thought. "oh by the way, what were u talking about when u came out of that building?" sinboy asked. "you sounded very mad." leon sighed and pointed at a nearby bench, telling sinboy to sit down. "you surely know what happened during the biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history, right? well, one of them was the hope's peak academy's killing game. junko enoshima locked the entire 78th class, consisting of 14 innocent ultimate students and her sister, mukuro ikubasa inside the school, erased their memories and told them that if they wanted to escape, they had to kill a fellow classmate without getting caught. only six students made it out alive - makoto naegi, kyoko kirigiri, byakuya togami, toko fukawa, aoi asahina and yasuhiro hagakure." he started explaining to sinboy "OH YEAH i remember that. i wonder how the survivors are doing..." leon ignored him and continued. "well...the truth is that....i was one of the students stuck in the school." sinboy slowly turned his head around and looked at leon, horrified. "BUT YOU WEREN'T IN THE SURVIVORS LIST??? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU WERE IN THE SCHOOL?" he started screaming so loudly that the bystanders all turned around to look at them. he stood up and ran to the edge of the alleyway and blocked it with his body, as if he was trying to defend it. hes such a child. leon sighed "SHHH. everyone's looking at us!" leon whispered and dragged sinboy back to the alley. "look, i know its hard to believe, but its the truth, so take it or leave it. i... actually died in hope's peak. yeah....i was the first person to get executed." "e-executed?? but why" leon sighed and said "for killing someone. that was also part of the rules. if you kill someone and get found out you get executed." he started explaining. "b-but...how are you still alive then." "i just got revived by the... leader.. of the survivors" "oh yeah his name is..makoto..naegi, right?" leon rolled his eyes "yeah....thats him...."

sinboy quickly stood up and said "ANYWAYS.....who was that person you killed? i cant imagine how terrible they must have been to drive such an amazing person like you to murder!" "well....i suppose it won't hurt to tell you the story...so here you go. her name was sayaka maizono. yes, the famous pop idol. she was planning to kill me and blame it on her friend, makoto, so she lured me into her room and attacked me with a knife. of course i had to protect myself, so i took the knife from her and killed her" leon sighed "WOW! shes truly terrible and youre so amazing leon!! if i ever see sayaka ill beat her up for you, i promise." 

leon put his hands in front of his chest with his palms faced against sinboy, as if he was trying to stop him from doing something, and looked at him with a smile and a sad look in his eyes. "now now, theres no reason to resort to violence, is there?" he said. "hm.... if you say so" said sinboy. leon smiled at him and continued. "anyways, i really should get going n-". he was interrupted by a very familiar voice. "ouch, i fell." "you need to be more careful, my blueberry angel princess" "thank you my booboo bear". leon and sinboy stuck their heads out and watched them. "i love cupcake" "i love you more my angel" "no i do strawberry shortcake". the couple continued saying to each other. "wow, theyre so loud" said sinboy "and theyre being totally gross too!" but leon couldn't hear him. he was too focused on the girl. long blue hair, school uniform, and a very pretty, doll-like face. yup, that was certainly sayaka maizono, the girl he had brutally murdered a few months ago. he clearly remembered fighting her in makoto's dorm, breaking her arm with the sword and stabbing her in the stomach with a kitchen knife. the memory of her lying on the bathroom floor, lifeless, with blood staining her once stylish and clean uniform was still vivid and engraved in his mind.  he understood that she must have gotten revived, just like him, but it still felt so unnatural to see her like this, alive and healthy. so many thoughts were running through his brain that he almost didnt notice sinboy screaming into his ear "THATS SAYAKA MAIZONO!! HOW DARE SHE TRY TO HURT YOU!!!"

before leon could react, sinboy ran past him and pushed sayaka to the ground. the baseball star knew he had to do something to help. he glanced at makoto, who was frozen in place. what a coward, he hasnt changed at all ever since the start of the killing game huh? well if thats the case...

leon rushed over to sayaka, hoping to help her get up and talk sinboy out of trying to hurt her. instead, what he got was a punch to the face. a quite strong one at that.

he blacked out.
