Haruki-(Part 2)

Haru PoV

     I woke up and I felt super excited. Today is my birthday!!! I feel like a child getting so excited. I looked over at my phone and I saw that there were messages from all the guys... and MC. I looked at her text first. I smiled to myself as I read it and sent her a reply. Then I answered the rest of the birthday messages I got. I went downstairs and my mom and dad had made a really good breakfast for me. Sae jumped up and gave me a BIG hug. "Happy Birthday Haru!" she grinned. "Aw thank you Sae. Seeing you makes me much happier now," I told her. She smiled so big it warmed my heart. Then I heard the doorbell ring. I went out and saw MC, who was waiting for me.
   "Hey Haru! Happy Birthday! Where do you wanna go celebrate?" She asked me. "How about we just go to Black Ship now?" I asked. She looked mortified at that response. "Oh...um how about we go to the arcade instead? Then we can play games and all," she suggested. She was hiding something and I could tell, but what was it? "Mmm okay then," I said. She looked as if the sky had been taken off her shoulders. I was very confused not way she was acting, but we went to the arcade anyway.

   We got to the arcade and I just went on ahead to the games. "Look they have table hockey!" I exclaimed. I was in such a positive mood that I wanted to play all the games. I took MC to it and we started playing. I tried going easy on her, but she was so bad I just kept winning. Then I saw this brand new game, like pictionary. You had to draw something and the other person had to guess. I asked MC if we could play it, and even though she looked slightly troubled, she agreed. First word was... a bunny. I can draw a bunny! I worked really hard, giving it its ears and tail and I presented it to her. "Ta-da!" I shouted proudly; I really liked it. She looked at it and kinda fumbled a bit. "Oh... is it...a dog?" She asked hopefully. "What? It's a bunny. Oh you probably got confused by the tail. It's okay," I smiled at her. I didn't understand how she could think it was a dog though since it was clearly a bunny. "Oh... haha... ya it's totally a bunny.... " she mumbled. She was a really good at drawing, so I could tell that hers was a horse, and horses are pretty hard to draw! Usually when we have to draw something, she does it. I think it's because she actually really likes drawing, but its always really nice when she does it.
   As we went through the arcade having a really fun time, I noticed she kept checking her phone and getting distracted a lot. It made me suspicious, but I trust her. She took me to the photo sticker machine and I was sure to be ready. The first time she took me to one, I looked so weird, but after it was those pictures that brought us closer together in the end. We took four pictures: one smiling, one silly, one that was really cute, and on the last one, she...um...kissed me on the cheek. I got really embarrassed, but when it ended, her sweetness inspired me to lean in and give her a soft kiss. It wasn't anything big or passionate, but being so close to her made my heart race. I could taste her cherry lip gloss, and it was heaven. After a couple seconds I pulled away and saw her blushed face. She turned to hide it and I swear that was the cutest thing ever.

   At the moment, MC was at the bathroom, and she had left her stuff with me. She handed me her phone and, don't get me wrong, I'm not the snooping kind of guy, but when her phone went off I saw a text and I almost lost it. "Are you ready to tell Haru? I can't believe we kept it hidden this long! We are gonna get to celebrate so much once the 'secret' is out ;).-Rihito." WHAT?!?! Is MC cheating on me?!? No, can't be, she'd never do that to me. But it does say to tell me. I SWEAR I'M GONNA KILL RIHITO!!! Actually I can't because if she chose him over me, and I kill him, she'd be unhappy. Why can't I do anything!? What am I thinking, MC would never cheat on me. But... she was acting really weird today. Is it because she's gonna tell me? Ugh why is this happening??? MC came out and she looked at me with a slightly troubled face. I probably look so dumb right now, thinking that we were celebrating, when she was probably just wanting to cushion the blow. "Are you okay Haru?" she asked with real concern in her eyes. "Yeah... I'm okay," I said though grinding teeth. If she was gonna break up with me, why is she torturing me like this? We walked back home, and the whole time I was in a lousy mood. I was practically being dragged to my own execution. "Come on Haru," she said with a worried expression," I can already see Black Ship." Look, that's where I'm supposed to be killed. I entered through the door of the sullen café, and instantly the lights turned on. "SURPRISE!"

The message above is the texts exchanged between Haru and MC in the beginning of the chapter. I'm sorry this whole chapter was short and in Haru's PoV, but I felt like it would work better in his. I think It's nice that I got to introduce it with both, and that the next PoV will probably be MC's. Also asking, should I make his 3 or 4 parts? Oh well I'll decide when the time comes.
