1.0 Chapter 4: Secrets

Mari's POV:

I honestly can't believe it. The last few days everything was going well, and now ShadowMoth has done it again. He's akumatized more people.

Two of them to dial it down.

I don't know where the akuma could be. But I stare at the sentimonster a little too long and Tikki punches me to reality.

"We need to go, Marinette!" She whispers.
"I know!" I run toward the restroom hiding behind a stall.
"Who do you think they are?" I ask Tikki.
"It could be someone. But they kind of look like Rose and Juleka..." Tikki says.
"B-but they..." I shook myself. It wasn't the time to talk.
"Tikki! Spots on!" I close my eyes as pink light flashes around me.

I go out the bathroom window.

I swing myself toward the roof nearby as I see Chat following me.
"What happened?" Chat asked.
"An akumatized person. Or should I say people." I said.
"Was that humor I sensed, M'Lady?" Chat asked.
"It's good to lighten up, don't you think?" I winked.
I hear Chat say.
"I love it..." I giggle inside. Cute.

I la d on the roof and watch the two speak and do something to Andre.
"Well, I guess secrets is the name of this episode, M'Lady." Chat says from behind me.
I nod.
"It's like there are two different powers they have. Roses has the power to make people say their darkest secrets. And Thorns just destroys them by doing something reckless." I explain.
"Wow." Chat says. "Just wow!" He says again.
"Come on, Chat!" I order.

We need to deakumatize them before they hurt more people. And I'm really not liking that sentimonster. He's making Paris a rose flower bed.

"What's the plan, M'Lady?" Chatnoir asked. I looked around.
"Hmm, we need to separate them." I said.
"Divide and conquer. Nice!" Chat said.
"I'll take Roses. You take Thorns." I said.
"What about the sentimonster?" Chat asked.
"I'll cover it." I say.

I don't want to tell him about Rena Furtive yet.

But I'll have to soon. If I want it to be fair that is. I feel as if me having a partner of my own. Chat deserves one too.

It's not fair that he has to go through the stress of having a secret identity. I've been thinking about it a lot and I think it's just not right anymore.

If I can have Alya by my side. Chat should have one too.

But there are also questions and answers I deserve.

Like: how does he know that Alya and Nino know each others secret identity?

Who told him or how did he find out?

Does he know my secret identity or something?

Who will he choose to be with him, if I have Alya?

Does he know something I don't?

All these questions I needed a answer to.

I call Rena Furtive.
"Hey, Rena." I say.
"Sup! You want me to take care of giving the Miraclous?" She asks.
"You know already. I'll need help with the sentimonster and someone keeping an eye on it while I and Chat take care of the others." I explain.
"Soooo, who are you thinking?" She asks.
"I want Vesperia to immobilize the sentimonster so we have time to take care of the others. Just teleport and give it to me." I tell her. I couldn't let ShadowMoth or anyone see her.
"Okay, where are you right now?" She asks.
"I'm going inside the school, in the locker room restroom." I say.
"Got it! I'm coming." She says.
