I take my usual seat on the corner of the oval and start picking at my lunch.
"Are you gonna eat that?" Ben Thomas asks me sitting next to me and digging into his lunch.
I smile at him. "Here." I say giving him the rest of my brownie.
"Thats why you're my best friend." He says shoving me lightly.
"Naaaw how cute you guys are together...again!" My stepsister Liana yells, walking over hand-in-hand with her boyfriend Luke. Ben and i look at each other and start laughing.
"Speak for yourself!" I giggle.
"When are u guys gonna get together! You two are inseparable." She says giving me a smoochy look.
Ben puts his arm around me.
"Best friends." He says to Liana giving her a cheeky look.
As they walk away Ben and i start talking about school and other things.
"Do you want to meet up after school?" He asks me.
"Sure come over to my house."
