Chapter 6: Argument

Morning soon came. She woke up alone inside the guest room. Yes, that’s right. She didn’t sleep in the master’s bedroom. After facing such fiasco with him, she did not dare to even get near him let alone sleep with him on the same bed. A big NO!

What he did last night was outrageous. She’s a woman with dignity and pride, what he did was totally insane.

If Chaeyoung was here with her, she would’ve smacked the girl for adoring such man. Perfect, you say? Ha! Such a blind human you are. Whoever says that that guy is perfect are for sure out of their minds. He’s an absolute opposite of what he appeared to be. He’s worse.

She walked towards the bathroom and faced herself in front of the wide mirror. She took a deep breath and looked at herself.

Last night… last night… the night where her first kiss was stolen by that jerk. Screw him.

She brought her right hand to touch her lips until her eyes darted towards her milky neck. There was a purple looking bruise displayed in her milky flawless neck. A hickey. It was the hickey he made last night. Looking at it, she felt a sudden rush of rage in her heart.

Taking a deep sigh once again before taking a shower.

When Lisa came downstairs, she was slightly mollified. Jungkook was nowhere ot be found and she felt slightly at ease.

“Good morning, madame Jeon.” Jihoon was the first to take notice of her presence and so he greeted her with a cheerful smile.

“Good morning to you too, Jihoon.” She greeted as she returned his cheerful smile though hers was a little troubled.

“Oh, good morning madame Jeon!” Lucy along with Mrs. Lim and the other maid named Sierra, greeted her with a cheerful smile. She greeted and smiled back.

“The breakfast will be served soon enough, madame.” Mrs. Lim told her in which she nodded before sitting on her usual spot.

Soon enough, one specific person came descending fron the stairs.

“Good morning, master Jungkook.” The butler greeted the man which made Lisa froze on her spot. He released a hum before walking towards his seat.

She remained silent, unmoving and head hung low. She did not dare to look at him, what more greet him. What happened last night is still lingering in her mind and it’s too much for her to forget so easily.

After making himself comfortable in his seat, he glanced at his wife. Truth to be told, last night, he didn’t sleep well. His mind was aggrieved, the guilt inside him kept him awake. What he did was truly ungentlemanly.

Last night was too overwhelming to bare to be honest. He was enraged by her behavior. She was acting too indifferently and it’s making him confused. He thought that she was playing some sick mind tricks, at first he disregarded her indifference and let her do whatever she wanted but yesterday, what she did… it was so unusual that it left him confused.

He thought she was playing with him once again. Acting all gentle and soft to lure his attention, it enraged him.

His thoughts were interrupted when Mrs. Lim spoke.

“Enjoy your meal, master, madame.” She stated as they placed the dishes in front of the silent couple. Mrs. Lim smiled despite of the awkwardness and tension from the two.

Lisa and Jungkook ate their breakfast silently. The maids and the butler couldn’t help but wonder what happened to the two, if they fought or something last night. Even they felt suffocated at the thick tension surrounding the two. It was an uneasy feeling that they can’t describe.
