Dan's POV-
"What the actual fuck, Phil?" Dan was enraged, he felt mocked. There was no way Phil could know he was homosexual. He had hidden it so well, but if there was anyway he was going to tell Phil about it before, he wasn't now. He watched Phil rolled his eyes and stopped the camera.
"You know about our slash fans."
"Yes, so?"
"Well this is just a joke, the slash fans will find it extremely hot and sexy and our other fans will know it is only a joke. Neither of us are actually homosexual." At Phil's last words, Dan winced. It was time to tell.
"Umm... Phil? I haven't told you something."
"Well tell me then, ya no good llama-boy!" He was just joking around but Dan still was afraid in a minute he would actually mean it.
"I have-" he stuttered. "I have a boyfriend, Phil. It's-" He couldn't bring himself to say it, not with Phil looking at him with those sad blue eyes. He slowly put his head in his hands, covering the tears. "I am so sorry."
Phil's POV-
Phil's best friend of who knows how many years, was gay. It was his turn to say, what the actual fuck? But, knowing it would hurt Dan's feelings, he didn't. He ran out of the front door instead.
It was a rainy day in London. The street was slippery and Phil could hear every rain drop touch the asphalt as if the small dribble were Big Ben's bell ringing.
He finally ran as far as he could, to the Starbucks around the corner from Dan and his flat, and sat down at one of the tables. He was crying. Should it really bother him so much that Dan was gay? Or was it that he had been lying to him about his sexuality? Could it be that Phil was jealous of-- No. He was straight. He ran away. Why then he ran away? It was too much to handle.
The doors to the Starbucks opened. Phil lifted his head slightly up hoping it wouldn't be Dan. It was. He sat down and immediately Phil was in Dan's arms crying like a baby who just lost its lollipop. He was comfortable there though.
Why had Dan run after him anyways, it wasn't like he had done anything wrong. Phil had been the wrong one.
His tears stopped flowing. He felt the last ones dry on his cheeks, yet he also felt new ones fall, making his cheeks wet yet again. He looked up. Shit. Phil had completely forgotten that Dan would probably be upset that his best friend, of whom he could trust all of his secrets with, ran away just because he found out he was gay. Phil got up off of Dan's lap, and sat across from him in the booth.
"I-I'm so sorry Dan. I-it was just a sh-shock. I am s-so sorry, Dan if you c-could just forgive m-me, Dan p-please..." He trailed off into small sobs into his sleeve until he felt the brunettes fingers twirling in his hair. He looked up to see Dan's chocolate brown eyes staring at him. Dan pulled his arm away.
Then there was heart wrenching silence.
All Phil could do was stare into those chocolatey brown eyes of Dans. /So beautiful. Wait... What? Maybe he was gay, no./ Phil thought, still wondering if Dan was even dating anybody. Had Dan said anything? Phil wasn't sure, he hadn't heard much besides the fact he was gay before running out of the door. Maybe.... Maybe he was falling in love?
