I got home from school to see my mom and saw her with her boyfriend. Mom said,"Good news, honey, you're going to a bridesmaid!"
I grabbed a glass of water and asked,"To who's wedding?" Then I sipped some water.
My mom responded," Ours!"
As soon as she answered, I spit the water and it went all over them as soon as that happened , I ran to my room with shame.
A few minutes later my mom knocked the door ,and opened it,then said," Would this be a bad time to mention that your going to have a stepbrother?"
"Yes and I have a question," I sighed.
"Yes?" Mom said impatiently.
"Did you ever ask me if I want you to get married?"
I stormed out of the room and stepped outside.Btw my name is Ashely I have brownish hair and blue eyes and small dimples. I know I'm cute. Anyways..........
I wonder who my stepbrother is.. As thoughts stormed in my head. I decided to go back in the house to ask my mom who my stepbrother was.
"Honey,I'm glad you want to talk," Mom said as I came in.
"Ummmmm, I don't want to talk,"I paused. "Who's my stepbrother?"
"He goes to your school, James Johnson." Mom answered.
I practically choked when she said that sentence. "Does James know me, I mean does he know I going to be his stepsister?"
"Yes and he's excited," Mom chuckled.
I left after that to talk to my BFF Natasha. She lives a few blocks from my house.
When I got there I explained the whole situation. While I talked her mouth dropped open.
"Is this the James as in your recent ex?????" Natasha said with her eyes wide.
"Johnson," I responded.
I went back home and ran up to my room trying to avoid my mom but always she had to come knocking on my door an hour later. "Can I come in?"
"No one stopping you now," I replied bitterly.
"Well tomorrow night we having dinner with my finance and his son wear something nice," Mom said and left the room,being her emotional self.
The next day at school 4th hour James come up to my locker,"Hi.
I closed the locker door and left.
With that he left with a smirk on his face. He's such a jerk,btw he cheated on me, this is going to be interesting.
That night at dinner I helped my mom fix dinner and went upstairs to change into a dress. Which was the same dress I kissed James...........
I heard a knock on the door and ran downstairs to answer it. There he was being his hot little self....💘💘💘💘
They came in and when James and I shared a look he winked at me!! Not that I'm excited. James walked over to me and said, "You look good tonight."
With that I broke a sweat. The table was set and we all sat down my mom and her fiancé were talking about their wedding while James and I shot glimpses at each other. That was pretty much the whole night,until.
"Where's the bathroom?"James asked.
"Ashely will you show James were the bathroom is?" Mom said.
I nodded. I escorted him to the bathroom. He said," Will you come with me?"
"Ok, are you flirting with me?" I asked
He opened the bathroom door with a smirk again.
A half an hour later they left.
Mom asked," So do you like James?"
"No!!!" Why would you think that?" "I mean yes"
"Oh good,we are moving the wedding up it's going to be in 3 weeks!" Mom happily said.
"That's great news!" I answered, btw I kinda lied ... And hugged her..
