"After the things I lived, I didn't want to fall in love again. But you made me believe in what I thought got lost in this dark and cold world." - Taehyung.
Continuation of "Calling Paradise."

I've been outside the room, walking around the streets with Taehyung by my side. Both decided to enjoy the weather and take some pictures, just like Taehyung wanted last night. So far, everything appears to be a paradise, and it doesn't look like our problems are chasing us anymore. I'm glad about it; after all, yesterday Taehyung had a rough time as soon as we arrived. But now, it seems he wants to enjoy our time here to stop thinking about the negativity surrounding him.
Currently, we are taking a stroll around the nearby streets. I want to hold Taehyung's hand, but he keeps rejecting my affections since we are in a public area. However, I'm still enjoying my time outside with him. And I'm happy to see him taking photos like before.
-Hey, can you stand next to the tree over there? – Taehyung told me, which I nodded for in response, then I did what he asked.
I stood next to the tree just like Taehyung wanted, and then he began to take pictures of me. I smiled his way before posing slightly more, wanting to give him the best photos for this trip.
-That's it, Jungkook! – Taehyung cheered, causing me to laugh at his reaction. I kept changing poses until Taehyung gave me a thumbs up, making me stop to walk to his spot.
Briefly, I stood next to Taehyung as he showed me the pictures he took. I nodded at his work, approving the result of the small photo session. Briefly, Taehyung continued to take photos of the garden ahead. But as I looked at him, an idea came to my head. Immediately, I took my phone out and took a photo of Taehyung, shortly sending it to Jodie.
"Better than ever, but missing you a lot." – Jungkook.
I smiled as soon as I sent the message, and then I placed my phone before returning with Taehyung. Once again, I tried to take his hand, but he shook his head with a smile.
-I also want to hold your hand, Kookie. But we can't let others see us. – Taehyung pointed out, which I nodded for in response. Then, I took a deep breath while looking around the place. -You aren't mad because of that, are you? – Taehyung questioned as I released a subtle smile due to his worries.
-No, I understand why we can't hold hands. But when we get to the room, you can't reject me anymore. – I mischievously mentioned.
Taehyung chuckled slightly. -Alright, inside the room, you can do anything you'd like. – Taehyung said, causing me to smile at his words.
We walked more until we saw a bench, so we sat down while looking at the scenery around us. The garden is pretty spectacular; the bright and natural colors have a lovely contrast from the rest of the city, making it pleasing to the eye. I wanted to continue admiring the place, but Taehyung elbowed my side, stealing my attention.
-What is it? – I asked while looking at my partner.
-I lost you for a second there. I thought you were listening to me, but I see you spaced out. – Taehyung mentioned.
-I'm sorry, what were you saying to me? – I asked while smiling at Tae.
-Yoongi sent a message, saying they are, on their way to San Fransico. – Taehyung revealed, causing me to frown slightly.
-Yoongi-hyung? – I questioned.
-Yes. Why do you ask? – Taehyung said, confused.
-No, nothing. – I answered before my phone vibrated, causing me to look at the screen.
"I'm so happy for you, Jungkook! Take care of my brother for me, could you? Oh! And we are traveling to San Fransisco in a few hours. So, wish me luck with the messy boys. Love you." – Jodie.
I smiled at the message before answering Jodie, feeling grateful for the joyful energy she's transmitting even if she isn't here with me.
-Is it my sister? – Taehyung asked, which I nodded for in response while still tying on my phone. -And what is she saying? – Taehyung curiously asked.
-J is happy that we're having fun, and she told me to take care of you. – I disclosed before sending the text to Jodie, briefly looking back at Taehyung. Now, for some reason, he has an upset expression. -What? – I asked.
-You never told me Jodie began talking to you again. – Taehyung pointed out.
-Tae, I told you before coming to New York. Remember, it was when you came to my apartment to help me with the luggage. – I told Taehyung, who merely nodded in response. -Anyway, you wanted to tell me something else. Didn't you? – I questioned as Taehyung hummed at my inquiry.
-I don't know if it's the right time, but I have had this thought since I discovered my feelings for you. – Taehyung disclosed before taking a deep breath. -Why did you break up with Yoongi-hyung? And I want the truth, not the same thing you've been telling everyone. – Taehyung asked, making me look at him, surprised.
-Oh, I didn't know you were thinking about this question for so long. But I guess since we are together, I should tell you about it. – I said, feeling slightly uncomfortable due to the question. -Well, behind the curtains, Yoongi and I used to fight a lot. Every time I found myself in a difficult situation due to Yoongi's complaints. And I didn't know what to say, only blame myself for my boyfriend's annoyed self. – I explained, finding it hard to say the right words.
-But why did he complain? – Taehyung asked, confused.
-Yoongi thought we didn't make sense together. I guess he couldn't keep up with my excitement, and at the same time, he felt like he couldn't breathe when we were with the members. – I disclosed, trying to describe what happened back then even though it still hurts. But not as much as before.
-Of course, you were excited! It was your first serious relationship, and I don't get why Yoongi-hyung felt that way. Why did he say he couldn't breathe? – Taehyung asked, slightly annoyed.
-I also asked Yoongi about it, and he said the members didn't let him do what he wanted. Sometimes, I wanted to be clingy with him, but he didn't want me around. Therefore, Jin-hyung or Hobi-hyung, even Namjoon-hyung, would go to him and ask him to treat me better. So, from time to time, he faked because he felt pressured to act a certain way. – I defined while reminiscing the time when I was next to Yoongi.
-Bullshit. – Taehyung murmured, causing me to look at him, stunned. He immediately noticed my expression before he sighed and sat closer to me. Then, Taehyung placed his hand on my kneecap, still keeping his eyes on me. -I'm sorry for asking you, Jungkook. I had to know before asking Yoongi-hyung myself. And now that I understand what happened, I feel upset for not helping you more back then. – Taehyung expressed, but I instantly shook at his words.
-You did help me a lot. Perhaps you didn't notice all the times you were the for me, but I have them very present. – I admitted before releasing a subtle smile. -But don't worry about it anymore, Tae. It's all in the past now, and it isn't relevant anymore. – I pointed out, not wanting to keep talking about the same subject.
-It still hurts you, though. – Taehyung mentioned while looking at me, concerned.
I slightly snickered before looking away from Taehyung. -I don't think it hurts me as you suspect. Honestly, recalling those days only make me feel worried about us. After all, I don't want to make the same mistakes I once experienced with Yoongi. – I admitted before looking into Tae's eyes. -Hey, can we return to the room? I need cuddles. – I embarrassedly questioned, causing Taehyung to chuckle slightly at my petition. He merely nodded before smiling at me, and then we stood up to leave.
