Another day came here in New York, and once again, I'm waking up next to the same man that drives me crazy. I'm currently looking at him, smiling at how peaceful he looks while sleeping. After last night's argument, I feel so much better about our relationship moving forward; after all, it looks like Jungkook doesn't want to hold any secrets between us. Honestly, hearing him apologize and realize his mistakes made me think about the days Jungkook said he was alright. I'm only wondering when his sorrow began and ended, or where was the point he forgot about himself only to take care of others.
These thoughts inside my head caused me to sigh while looking at Jungkook. I tried to keep myself composed since I did cry when Jodie and Jimin described Jungkook's situation through our phone call. Nevertheless, after discovering the truth, I reassured Jungkook's kind-hearted intentions and generous personality.
-You took the hyung role too seriously, didn't you? But you know what, now it's my time to protect you. – I whispered while caressing Jungkook's cheek, slightly chuckling while looking at his cute face.
Shortly, I moved closer to Jungkook and tickled his ear with my fingers. I want him to wake up since the morning already arrived, but it seems that my touch isn't doing much.
-Jungkook-ah. – I murmured before chuckling. -You, fool, wake up. – I whispered near his ear while holding my laughter.
Suddenly, Jungkook began to move his head slightly. I smiled before returning to my place, briefly looking at how Jungkook wakes up. Little by little, he opened his eyes and looked around the room, shortly meeting my eyes.
-Morning. – I said while smiling at Jungkook.
-Morning. – Jungkook answered before yawning and checking his watch. -Tae, it's only eight o'clock; why did you wake me up? – Jungkook asked, beginning the complaints due to the hour.
-I want to spend more time with you. – I teased, causing Jungkook to roll his eyes.
-No, you don't, you only want me to wake up early only to get used to it before returning to our activities. – Jungkook guessed, causing me to chuckle since he's right.
-But I can still use this time to be with you. – I pointed out, which Jungkook nodded for in response while closing his eyes. Then, he snuggled closer to me before resting his head on my chest. I smiled at him before caressing his head, relaxing while moving my fingers across his hair.
-Do you have plans for today? – Jungkook sleepily asked.
-Getting coffee, our daily walk, taking pictures of you, and probably eating out. Perhaps we can go to a bookstore and look around for new titles. – I suggested, which Jungkook hummed for in response.
