I stepped into the bathroom. It had been a horrible day and I was looking forward to a nice cold shower to ease the tension.
As I turned on the shower head, a dripping sound echoed throughout the small bathroom. That damn pipe leading to the shower head was always leaking, Been meaning to fix it, probably never would.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
I soaked myself in the wonderfully refreshing shower, and forgot all my problems. Except that leaking pipe. The dripping wasn't helping either.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
I turned off the shower head and reached for my soap. As I lathered myself from head to toe, the fruity scent perked me up for a while, carrying me off to a land of dreams and scents, before the awful dripping brought me back to the morbid reality that was my life.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
I put the soap back and reached for my shower head. It was really irritating that the pipe always dripped while the shower head was turned on.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Wait.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
It's not turned on. What's making the dripping sound?
Drip. Drip. Drip.
I suddenly became aware of a cold, constant pricking on my shoulder. It felt slimy, almost like...
Drip.
Like....
Drip.
Drool.
Drip.
