A/N: Thank you very much for reading my book! I decided to split this story by year to make it easier for reading! "My Damned Lover: Fourth Year" is already up, so I hope you check it out to read more about Draco and Seraphina's romance :)

-----

Seraphina tapped her wand against her suitcase, and it automatically buckled up. She was now ready to go home.

Seraphina looked out the window of her dorm and sighed. She couldn't believe third year was already over. It had been an interesting year, to say the least. At the last minute, she had found out how Hermione had been jumping from one class to the next like she had a twin. And she learned the truth about Sirius Black, Harry's godfather. What was disturbing was the fact that Ron's rat Scabbers hadn't been Scabbers for a while. She shuddered to think Peter Pettigrew had scurried through the hallways and snuck a peek at the girls changing. Next time she saw him, she was blowing his head off.

There was no doubt though that the biggest change this year had been... Draco. Even now, she couldn't believe how drastically different things were with him now. It wasn't like they were in a relationship. He hadn't officially asked her out. The word "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" hadn't been mentioned. But she definitely had some feelings for him. She just didn't know what step to take next, and it made her ponder if he felt the same way.

"Seraphina," Hermione called.

Seraphina snapped out of her thoughts and looked back. "Yeah?"

Hermione flashed a warm smile at her. She seemed to feel the same melancholy emotions everyone felt on the last day of school. "Come on. It's time to go home."

"Coming," Seraphina said. She took her luggage and followed her best friend downstairs.

Ron and Harry were waiting for them in the common room. They saw the girls and stood up. "Ready to go?" Ron asked. "Yeah," Hermione replied. Seraphina saw the sadness in Harry's eyes and softened. She gave him a hug and rubbed his arm. "It's going to be okay, Harry. Sirius will be fine too. And I'll see you this summer. I promise. Even if I have to kick your uncle in the face again." That made Harry laugh. "Thanks, Seraphina. I knew I could count on you."

"Let's go before we're late," Ron said.

Fred came out of nowhere and took her suitcase. "I'll take this for you, princess,"

"Thanks," Seraphina chuckled.

George smiled at her before leaving with his twin.

Seraphina patted Harry before heading to the exit. She glanced at the Fat Lady, who had returned, and waved goodbye. She managed to crack a smile and wave back. They left the castle and headed to the train station.

Seraphina saw a blonde boy and perked up. It wasn't Draco though, and her shoulders deflated. Would she be able to say goodbye to him?

Seraphina paused and looked back. She didn't see him anywhere. She spotted Pansy, who sneered at her, but Draco was nowhere in sight. The train tooted as it got ready to leave. Can I at least see him on the train?

"Seraphina?" Hermione poked her head back out and furrowed her eyebrows. "What are you still doing here? Come on. We managed to find a compartment."

"Coming," Seraphina answered and hurried inside. With a disappointed heart, she followed Hermione. It seemed like she wasn't going to be able to see him one more time.

-----

"We're here," Ginny said. Seraphina looked out the window. Sure enough, they were back in London. Seraphina followed the rest of the crowd out of the train. Students were busy saying goodbye to each other and reuniting with their families.

"Ginny! Ron! Fred! George! Percy!" The warm, friendly voice of Molly Weasely made everyone turn around. She hugged her children before making her way to Seraphina, Harry, and Hermione.

"It's so good to see you children! My, Harry, you grew taller since I saw you last! Hermione and Seraphina, you two are lovely as always." Molly was nothing but warm and comforting as she gently patted Seraphina's cheek. Seraphina smiled appreciatively. "Thank you, Mrs. Weasely. It's good to see you too." She looked behind her and greeted Mr. Weasely who was as jovial as always.

Chatting, everyone headed off the platform. Seraphina was the last one to follow, and she was about to vanish into the wall after Percy, but someone hollered her name. She paused and heard her name once again.

That sounds like... Draco?!

Seraphina spun around just in time to see Draco racing towards her. "Hey-"

Without letting her finish her sentence, he cupped her cheeks and bent down. Before she knew it, his lips were on hers, and her eyes widened in surprise. This was her first kiss ever, and the fact that it was with Draco Malfoy was mindblowing.

But... not bad. Not bad at all.

Draco pulled her in closer, and her heart skipped a beat. Her eyes slowly fell shut, and she slightly parted her lips. A wave of warmth and exhilaration bubbled within her, and she never wanted to forget such feelings. It was as if time had stopped and no one else existed. Slowly, Seraphina felt Draco draw away, and her eyes opened in response. Draco softly smiled at her and whispered, "I wanted to say goodbye to you."

"...You definitely did that," was the best response she could come up with. She winced at her own unoriginal reply, but he grinned and stepped back. "See you around, Seraphina." Then he walked away, leaving her heart fluttering and mind roaming.

Seraphina touched her lips and smiled.

She hoped that "around" was soon.
