I press call on my facetime as i sit down at the kitchen table. "Hey beautiful." Danny says smiling. i set my phone down. "Hey babe." i say looking at him on the small screen. his hair was perfectly messy. "You sleep ok?" He asks. i nod. "Well, as good as i possibly could have." i say. Danny laughs. "Dont worry, i'll be home in about two weeks for the weekend." He says making a heart with his hands. i hold my breath trying not to cry. "Breath." Danny reminds me. i let it out and start to cry. "No, shhh stop babe." Danny says. i put my head in my hands. "I miss you so much, i cant do this anymore Danny." i say. he sighs. "I only left a few days ago." he says. "i know but still." i say. "is that Maddie?" i hear a voice ask. i look as paul comes in to the picture. "Hey Maddie!" Paul says waving. i laugh. "Hi Paul." i say. Danny laughs. "Smile babe, We'll be home soon." Paul says before blowing a kiss at Danny's phone and leaving. "Maddie, i think we should take a break." Danny says. i stop breathing, and i swear my heart stopped to. "W-what?" i ask. "I dont want to, not at all. but i dont want to miss you this much, its just gonna hurt." Danny says. "IT'LL HURT MORE KNOWING YOUR OFF KISSING SOME GIRL AT ONE OF YOUR CONCERTS!" i scream at my phone. "Maddie whats going on?" Austin asks. "HES BREAKING UP WITH ME!" i cry. Danny runs a hand through his curls. its obvious hes crying. "Im sorry, when i come home we can be together i just do-" i hang up on him before he can finish. i hand my phone to Austin. "I gotta go." i cry. whipping tears away from my face. Two arms wrap around my waist. "Hey, no, come on tell me what happend." Austin says. "He broke up with me!" i cry into austins chest.
"I heard him say you were taking a break babe." Austin says. "ITS THE SAME GOD DAMN THING!" i say between sobs "three hours ago, the love of my life told me he wanted a break, im alone austin! i love him so much! you dont understand! id givve him anything, id jump in front of a car to save him ok? I LOVE DANNY JOSEPH EDGE!" i scream. Austin shakes his head and pulls me into his chest. "I know babe. it hurts. He's gonna come back." Austin says stroking my hair. But i couldnt bring myself to believe him.
