Next morning, when Hasan woke up for Fajr prayer he found Anaisha sleeping in an uncomfortable position and felt guilt. He placed an arm around her shoulder and the other under her thighs and gently lifted her. She stirred in his arms, letting out a breath and slept comfortably once she was on the bed.
When she woke up, Hasan wasn't in the room. He had left with a message on a sticky note,
- "Gone for breakfast. Will get yours by room- service. And making new itinerary"
She smiled to herself as she read his words.
After showering, she dressed in ivory silk Cami top and jeans. She wore a white shrug and pushed aside her dampened hair. As she finished applying maroon lip-balm, there was doorbell.
The room-service had come with her breakfast and a bouquet of daisy flowers. She was surprised by the flowers. Just as the young man turned, Hasan stepped out of the elevator. Anaisha and his gaze met, and they shared a smile.
"Why did you get me flowers?"
"Because I thought it might make you happy." He replied instantly.
Anaisha was touched by his gesture. She smiled, lowering her gaze and admired the flowers.
Hasan cleared his throat, - "So, where should we go. I have made these new pla—"
"Let's go somewhere romantic."- She said in one go, then paused, - "I mean, we are here for our honeymoon, right." She hoped it might help ignite some sparks between them. Without much thought, he agreed.
Together they decided for Lake and Rose Garden, - "Tomorrow, wake up early and we will go for the waterfall or this place that gets you to see cottony soft clouds from up close. I did my research and it's—" Hasan was cut short, as Anaisha grabbed his arm and pulled him with her.
Though, Anaisha wasn't much of a poser, on Hasan's insistence she agreed. Hasan bailed out when it was his turn. Like her, he too was awkward with photography. They also got a couple of people to click their photo together.
"I am always worried of asking strangers to click our photos. What if they run with our phones?" Hasan expressed himself, this made Anaisha to chuckle.
After dinner at a restaurant, the two returned home. Hasan went for his prayer while Anaisha decided to retire for the night. She went to change her clothes. Instead of putting on a night dress, she purposefully wore a red saree that had elaborate sequin work at the borders and matched with V neck backless blouse that had similar work on it. She adorned her hands with red glass bangles, apart from the jewelry that Hasan had gifted her. Also, a matching choker and Jhumkas. Lastly, she did her make-up and finished her look with her favorite black bindi and smudged her hair-parting with herbal sindoor.
