Ch. 8

*Lilac POV*

The warm sunlight shined on to my face forcing me to open my eyes, "Ugh I don't wanna go to school-", I complained. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around just to see Budo. I thought to myself, "Ah, right Budo stayed the night."

"Good Moring sleepy head" Budo mocked, I giggled, "Terrible morning to you too Mr. Welcome to the martial arts club!" Budo just pouted and I started giggling which turned into a full on laughing fit. There were tears streaming down my face. "B-Budo I c-ant b-breathe!" I was laughing hysterically on the floor. "Heh. Well just for that I'm leaving with out you" Budo smirks proudly. "NO NO NO BUDO DON'T LEAVE ME I DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE YET" I whined.

End of Lilac POV

*Umeji POV*

Me and my friends were walking into the school it was only 7:05 so we had lots of time to kill we were just going to go to the incinerator then someone rammed into me at lightning speed. I heard from behind me a familiar voice, "Ah! I'm sorry this won't happen again!" I shook of the thought immediately and drew my bat to teach this loser a lesson. "I'm so sorry! I just need to-" "Oh, It's you.." I recognized her immediately, It was Lilac. She abruptly started walking away but I wanted to talk to her. I grabbed her wrist she slapped my hand away and yelled, DON'T TOUCH ME!" She started running towards the entrance me and my friends took chase after her. It didn't take long for us to catch up to her once we did I grabbed her forcefully by both of her shoulders and turned her around to face me. I yelled with slight worry in my voice, "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!?" I saw her tremble back in fear at the sound of my voice but she wasn't backing down just yet. She had a sad yet angry expression on her face. Then my heart dropped as hot, wet tears fell down her face. She pushed me away, looked down, and clenched her fist. "It's nice to know that you, one of the few people I trust ditched me on Friday and forgot today." after saying that she just walked away and I didn't have the nerve to stop her.

Time skip to Lunch. Why? Cause im lazy      

"Dude what was that about?" My friend Gaku asked questioningly. "I-....."..."I'm gonna go I'll see you guys later" I know that I'm bad at showing it but I really do care about making her upset. I decided to go up to the roof for some fresh air and saw Lilac talking to one of the gaming club losers. The girl had lime hair I was pretty sure her name was Midori Gurin. I was thinking about getting her her favorite flowers and I thought "Girls like flowers I'll start there"

End of Umeji POV

Midori POV 

I was just minding my own business E-mailing Yandere-Dev when I felt a forceful grip on my right shoulder. I had a feeling of who it was and my gut was right. I turned around and saw the leader of the delinquent gang. "Can I help you?" I said slightly intimidated.

The delinquent leader opened his mouth and said, "Listen I need you to help me and if you tell anyone that I came to you for help I'm going to crack your skull open"

"Yup message heard loud and clear anyways what do you need help with" I questioned.

He opened his mouth again and I noticed his cheeks were dusted a light pink then I realized that he was blushing!

"Well I...made you friend upset and I want to get her her favorite flowers"

I started to fangirl and he looked at me like I was crazy which may or may not be true. "DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON MY BFF!?" I questioned. He was silent but his face was getting more red by the second.

He snapped at me and said, "Well are you going to help me or not!?" And I replied, "Sure her favorite flowers are white roses!" "Heh, thanks"

Time skip to the next day at school 

Umeji POV 

I felt really embarrassed walking in to the school with a bouquet of white roses the whole time I was a anxiety-filled, nervous, blushing mess. All of my friends were just smirking at me which didn't help at all. "so who's the unlucky girl?" asked Hokuto. I said in a slightly annoyed tone, "What's that supposed to mean?-"

I saw Lilac talking to Midori so I walked up to her and tapped her shoulder. When she turned around she looked beautiful which again didn't help. I felt my face getting red. "Umeji are you okay?" I heard her say to snap me back into reality. She was touching my cheek and I like the idiot I am I was blushing like a madman. I handed her the bouquet of roses and she looked at me in amazement. "Umeji these are- these are beautiful!" "Where did you get these?" I had a slight smile on my face. But it was time to ask the question. "Uh Lilac so I was wanting to ask you this would you like to go on a date with me?"
