The dreams I had that night were vivid and unsurprisingly, colorful most of them were about Nanaue my precious brother despite our differences, he was always there for me whenever I was in trouble we never went out separate ways. I had already forgotten about the night before the scars both in mind and body were healed never again shall those scars be damaged and for some reason, I could feel the presence of the shark God watching over Nanaue, and I a presence that protects us as it's only surviving descendants.
Nanaue and I have no memory of our true family we were separated from them but I can finally consider The Squad our family I needed to repay them somehow for saving me from that shit stain Joker I hope he is going through the same torture as I had that son of a bitch deserved it now that I mention it, he did look pretty scarred and bloodied from Polka dot man's polka dots. I let that thought slide past me it didn't need my mind to cover in the thick dark juices of that horrible memory. I looked up the ceiling I thought about the squad again as long as I am with them there will be no more pain, misery, nightmares, or loneliness.
I thought about Nanaue again how he was worried about me before I got out of the hospital I quietly and slowly got out of bed remaining quiet as I quietly opened Nanaue's door and walked toward him hee looked so peaceful I couldn't help but smile I inched closer and adjusted myself underneath his large body placing his arm around me hearing that soft and soothing sound of his heartbeat he suddenly moved shit did I wake him up? I asked myself I had realized he noticed me as he wrapped his arm around me like a snake as he inched me closer to his soft chest squeezing me a bit. I patted him on the shoulder softly as he made a purring sound as a way of saying I love you. I loved him too as I fell asleep once again a small tear running down my eye as my eyes closed.
