The sun had gradually risen into the sky, spreading its heat throughout the forest. As soon as it became apparent that both of our clothes were damp with sweat, Tarquin suggested we go inside, and in we went.

As I pulled open the door that led to the kitchen, the cool air rushed over me, licking the sweat from my face. I plopped down onto one of the bar stools in the kitchen, then I looked to Tarquin, curious as to what he planned next.

"So..." I began, "What now?"

He looked at me as if debating what to say next. A sly smile slowly spread across his face. "Well, we could go swimming - you seemed to enjoy it the last time."

My mind was a little slow to recall what he was referencing, but then the image of him watching me, while I was naked, flashed before my mind.

The surprise must have shown on my face because Tarquin laughed aloud at my reaction.

"Asshole." I muttered.

Tarquin smirked at me. "So was that a yes?"

"No."

"Look, if you don't love the place I want to take you then - as much as it will pain me - I will never look at you, ever again."

"That's a little dramatic."

"Or... it shows just how confident I am that you'll love it."

"You know that I'm planning on leaving, right?"

"Of course that was the plan, but that's not what has to happen."

I thought about it for a few moments. I suppose it couldn't hurt... right? We'd only be going there for a few hours, and then I could set off in my own again.

"Fine - but just for a few hours, okay?"

He winked at me. "Sounds perfect to me."

I strange feeling entered my chest when he winked, but I quickly brushed it aside. "So where is this mysterious place of yours?"

"You'll see." He said mischievously. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah, are we leaving now?"

"Yep. I'll just grab some food for us to eat while we're there."

My stomach chose that moment to growl. Tarquin paused for a moment. "And apparently some food for us to eat now." He looked at me. "You realize we just ate less than an hour ago, right?"

He chuckled at the glare I sent him.

"I'm going to change really quickly." I turned around headed towards my room, then I stopped, my foot hesitating midair. "Actually," I began, "I just realized I don't have anything to wear... Do you have something?"

"Not unless you want to wear more of my shirts."

I surveyed my body, which was drowning in a huge white, cotton shirt. I fingered the soft material, debating whether or not to ask for something else. The shirt just brushed my fingertips when my arms were hanging at my sides, leaving my long legs completely bare. I wasn't uncomfortable or anything, it's just that it might be nice to have on some pants.

I lifted my gaze to Tarquin, and I realized I hadn't been the only one surveying my body. His gaze slowly drifted down my front, then back up, lingering on my generous curves. My cheeks began to feel heated.

I awkwardly cleared my throat. "Um... do you have any pants?"

His gaze met mine once more, his eyes slightly darkened. "We're swimming - what do you need pants for?"
