Chapter one

In the courtroom
Betty , Archie , Jughead, Cheryl and rest of Veronica's friends are sitting in the left row and Veronica it's on the stand
Lawyer: I need for you mrs lodge to tell us what happened
( flashback, 5 weeks earlier)
Veronica it's at pops with Betty , Archie and Jughead, they are laughing and talking about random stuff
Veronica: ok. I have to go home now
Betty : bye v
Archie: bye Ronnie
Veronica slides out of the booth then wave at pops and she smile then she opens the door and walks out then she goes in to her car and head to pembrook
Veronica opens the door at pembrook then walks in and closes the door then goes straight to her room and take off Jacket and put her purse and jacket in her bed then take out her phone from her purse then lay on her bed and just go on her phone then one minute later she noticed a folded paper taped on the wall , so she gets up with concern , she stand on her bed and grab the paper then sit on her bed , looks at the door then back at the letter and opens the paper and it's shocked by what she read , she started crying

Next day
Veronica it's at pops just staring at something random and stir her straw to her milkshake then Betty walks towards her and slide in to the booth
Betty : what's wrong
Veronica snap out of it
Veronica: oh nothing , it's nothing
Betty : come on v , I know you and I know there is something , so spill
Veronica: it's really nothing
Then Veronica gets up angrily and slide out of the booth and grab her purse and walk out of pops and Betty try to run after her but couldn't catch up to her so she stop running and take a deep breath then went back inside

Pembrook
Veronica runs inside and closes the door then sits on the couch and starts crying , she started to remember flashes of that night in Halloween when that criminal guy was chasing her and had to burn him , she grabs her phone and calls a mysterious person
Veronica: we need to talk now , my house
Veronica shuts the phone

Couple minutes later
The door bell ring
Veronica wipe her tears then gets up and open the door
Veronica: hello Gladys
Gladys it's shown
Gladys: (smirk ) hello lodge
Walks in
Gladys: I love what you did with this place
Veronica: you did not come here to chat about the decor of this place , we have some important things to discuss
Veronica gave her the letter
Gladys: ( looks at the letter ) oh wow , wow , do you know who it is
Veronica : no I don't , did you write this because only you and me know about this , you were there remember
Gladys: no I did not write this letter , why would I
Veronica sits on the couch
Veronica: you were there when it happened, you know that he was going to kill me and I had to protect myself
Gladys: I know , but believe me when I say I did not write that letter
Veronica: I believe you , but if it was not you then beside that men who could of had known , I only told Archie after it happened and in no way he could do this
Gladys: everything it's going to be ok
Veronica : hope so , maybe this is just a prank
Gladys : maybe
Veronica: what were you doing that night at pops , I thought you were out of town
Gladys : I came back because I wanted to visit fp for personal matters and got hungry, so then that's when I saw from the window you running and he is chasing you , then you went down to your club , so I went inside to see what's happening and that's when I look down from the stairs and saw the fire and you running upstairs and out of pops , you didn't even check what happened to the men
Veronica : I was busy running for my life
Gladys: but what about the next day
Veronica: I just wanted to forget what happened

An hour later
Gladys gets up
Gladys : let me know if anything else happens
Veronica: will do
Gladys walks out of the door and Veronica closes the door behind her and sit back at the couch
Couple minutes later
Veronica goes to her room when she notice her lamp it's broken and a card game attach to it , she turn it and it's written v on the card with red marker , she put her the card in her closet then close it , then sits on the bed and try to breath
