Husna hastily walked out of the class, and Faiza caught up to her. "Husna, now that you're walking so fast, tell me where you're heading to?" Faiza asked.

"I want to go to the market," she replied, "and I have a lot on my mind today."

Faiza dragged Husna back, saying, "Let's go together then." They walked to the parking space, where Hameed was leaning against his car, clad in a sky-blue kaftan. His killer smile was still plastered on his face.

As Husna approached, their eyes met, and she furrowed her brows. "Faiza, what are we doing here?" she asked.

"What? He'll just drop us at the market since we're done early today. And yesterday, I totally forgot to introduce you to him."

Hameed lifted his eyes, and their gazes met again. She  felt embarrassed.

Yaya Hameed, this is Husna, my one and only best friend. And Husna, this is my brother, Yaya Hameed."

Hameed spoke in his deep, manly voice, "Good afternoon, Asma'u."

Husna, feeling embarrassed, covered her face and greeted him softly, avoiding his intense gaze. "Sorry, good afternoon. She could feel his eyes roaming around her which made her uncomfortable.

"I  already find  a beautiful wife masha Allah , he exclaimed, gazing adoringly at her .

Faiza  burst out laughing at Husna's exasperated eye roll, knowing that Hameed was probably just joking. She is well aware that his  playful nature often led him to joke about such things."

"'NO!' she hissed, her teeth clenched in annoyance. She shot him a few withering glares as she walked away, both he and Faiza burst out laughing, which only infuriated her further. She stormed off, muttering a curse under her breath she disappeared into the distance. 'Psycho!' she spat, her anger echoing through the parking space until the sound of their car horn faded into the distance."

"She quickly masked her nose, revealing only her eyes, and Faiza opened the car door, urging her to get in. She  reluctantly obliged. As she settled in, he  glanced at her through the rearview mirror, and she swiftly turned her gaze into a scowl.

He raised an eyebrow, slightly taken aback by the daggers she shot his way. Rolling her eyes in exasperation, she muttered a curse in Fulani, assuming he wouldn't understand the words. Little did she know..."

"The car ride was uncomfortably silent, with Husna radiating tension. He  dropped them off at the market, parking his car and waiting for them to exit.

"Hussy , please spare me! I swear, he didn't mean any of it. He was just joking; I know my brother." Faiza's grin was mischievous, like a Cheshire Cat. "Maybe he just wants you to feel comfortable around him... he's like that."

"I don't like him," but she mentally cursed herself the moment the words escaped. "I didn't mean that... I just... um..." she trailed off, pressing her lips together in frustration. "He's just getting on my nerves!"

"This is how he's Husna," Faiza said with a chuckle. "He's just a friendly person.

Don't you think he stare too much,I'm feeling uncomfortable seriously..

I understand why you'd feel uncomfortable with the staring." Faiza giggled and nodded, I'll take note on that.

After purchasing the zobo, watermelon, and other flavors, they headed back to the car. Hameed dropped Husna off at her house,

Her mother greeted her with a questioning look. "You're back early today? Did everything go well?"

She  dropped her bag and replied, "Yes, I'm just tired and my stomach hurts." She scrunched up her face in discomfort.

Did you take your medicine today?...

She nodded, "Yes, I took them before going to school."

Adda husna Mallam habib said I should give you this her sister smile handing her a paper.
Hore manga(see your bighead)what did I tell you about this man?she went to her room keeping her bag aside.
*************
Her phone rang for the fifth time, and she refused to answer, noticing it was an unknown number. The phone continued to ring repeatedly, annoying her. She groaned and finally pressed the answer button.

"Assalamu alaikum, who's on the line?" she mumbled.

The response came, "Wa'alaikumu sallam... it's me."

"You? Who? You don't have a name?"...

She was about to hang up when the caller pleaded, "Wait, please don't hang up... it's just me."

She  rolled her eyes and cut the call. "Stupid! Maybe someone just mistakenly called me."

The phone continued to ring repeatedly, and Husna hissed in frustration, standing up and walking out of the room. Her sister entered and picked up the call.
"An moijo on?(Who are you? )she spoke
Who are you also?hameed questioned her.."
I'm Adda husna sister, maybe you mistakenly dial the number .."

"No"I'm faiza brother and also your Adda husna friend .,we just had a little misunderstanding and she's mad at me.."

"Oh!!so Adda has a male friend." and she never told us.."how close are you?"

"You see we are always together"she just got mad for some unknown reason and she's not talking to me anymore.."What's your name?

I'm Fatima, and I'm 14 years old. I'm also the last born. You said you're close to Adda Husna, but she didn't tell you about me."

"Oh, I see. But you know, I just wanted to hear it from you." He added, "You all have nice names Adda Husna, Fatima...

And  you forgot Abdulkarim....what about you?"

"Well, I'm Abdulhameed...

"That's Abba's name! I can't call you that." Fatima exclaimed,

He  chuckled, "Then call me Captain, alright?"

Husna stormed into the room, yelling, "What the hell are you doing with my phone?" Fatima quickly handed over the phone and ran out of the room.

He  intervened, "Woah, tigress! Don't hit my sister, please."

"Where did you get my number? Why did you call me? Who gave you permission to talk to my sister?"

"Tigress, one question at a time. How do you expect me to answer all these?"

She  cut him off, "You know what? I don't need your answer. Don't ever call me again." She hand  up the phone.

She  mentally made a list, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. "No boyfriend, no male friend, no one."
